Altadon tryed not to show his slight irritation. Instead he scooped Cloudya up from where she lay with the easy of someone lifting a child. Without a word he walked toward the entrance. He looked back over his shoulder. "Go home Meriana... " He lept from the ledge his wings carying him and Cloudya away from the cave.

Gold Dusk relaxed in the cool water of the creek. He had needed tht after the battle.

Meriana watched him. she wanted to stop him but knew she couldnt. she stood up and walked after him. " but-" she said before he lept off the edge. she growled. " well i'll be sitting right here when he gets back. " she said to herself. she planted her bottom on the side of the ledge and looked out into the valley.

Altadon took Cloudya up into the mountains to another cave. It too had been furnished like the one they had just left. He put Cloudya to bed and then went back to the other cave. "Whay are you being so blasted stubborn?" He asked once he had landed on the ledge.
