Airithnu looked down, but moved closer to Rena and put her hand on her shoulder comfortingly. "I wish I could say I could share this burden with you, and you must know that I would like to make it lighter for you-for all the Oringal Chosen that still remain." She said, unsure on what else to add.

"Is it cool being a shapeshifter? Do you live longer than humans?"

Airithnu nodded solemly and then let go of her shoulder. "Your grandfather is a wise man." She told her and then added, smiling, "I believe so. I love being a shapeshifter! It is exhilirating and amazing....and yes, we do live for a while."

"That's cool. Most of the time I wish I was something other than human. Though I think I more like a mage, because of my power, though I still have yet to strengthen it. But then again, I'm still young. Oh, and what's your favorite shape to take on?"

From under the protective wing of Rinivel Kith watched the two females conversing. Though somewhat far away, he could still hear them well enough to disagree. Rena...she had said adults were less burdened by grief. Kith scoffed at that. He just knew they were better at hiding it. The grief at seeing his companions killed still ate at him. Thos few chosen were as close as a family he had, though he couldn't bring himself to admit it. As for the shapeshifter...her heritage may be well enough for her, but it had brought nothing but despair and suffering to Kith.

Airithnu smiled. "It is fun, because I can speak any animals tounge, and they trust me. My favorite form? I have no idea! There is so many to choose from!" She said. "The only form I cannot change into, however, is the form of a Dragon." She told Rena. "That is why I want to protect this little guy so much. Because of the part of me that is an animal, and the human part, because of my respect for it's race." She told her. "Oh, I'm sorry, I'm rambling. At least it is good rambling. If I started talking about hunters, watch out! I will talk for hours!"

"Hm... last time I really just talked to someone for hours was a few years ago for sure when me and my friend stayed up all night talking," she leaned on Granit, starting to feel the excitment of the day catch up to her. The horse looked at her.
Really? she inquired to Rena. Which friend might that be?
Oh, she moved away we met, Rena answered...

Meridian yawned, his teeth flashing in the thin light. His long, thin spines rattled as he shook himself, they fell to his back as he lay his head gingerly on the ground.

"Shall we gather all the eggs together?" Firis asked the rest of the Chosen. "They probably will do better if they're together..." She trailed off, watching them.

Airithnu nodded, agreeing with Rena. "I haven't really talked with anyone for a good amount of time." She paused, them adding, "But being a Shapeshifter does have its regrets and burdens, along with all the good things. I believe being a Shifter is one of the hardest races to be..." She said sadly, looking towards the ground. "I have my own hauntings....my own nightmares." She said, in almost a whisper. Then, she snapped out of it as she looked up at Meridian, hearing her voice. "If that is what you think is best." She agreed.

"If you want to talk anytime, just let me know. I may be young and not know as much, but I can still put up a good conversation," she said, then went to get her dragon egg.
"I think putting the eggs together was a good idea. I think that's how Crymson did it, by putting them in a magic fire that kept tem warm."
