It's got Johnny Depp in it, so you can't go wrong.
It really is a charming, fun, and sweet movie. You should definently check it out. Depp is very funny!

There's something really odd about this title; I always want to me 'Ben & Jules' - I don't know why, but that's what it's called in my head.
Anyway, it's a very sweet movie. Depp is adorable, especiallay when he irons the toast. And the references to Buster Keaton and other silent movie actors are just brilliant!

This is by far one of my FAVOURITE movies of all time!
*SQUEE*
It's SUCH an adorable movie! So sweet, and heartfelt. Gah, I just LOVE it! Johnny Depp is amazing in this film! I love the scene in the diner with the rolls! I remember the first time I saw this movie, that part had me in fits of laughter! And I was laughing so hard I was crying and I could hardly breathe. Ha ha ha! And I love the scene in the park! ABSOLUTELY brilliant!
And I agree Ea, I love the references to the silent film classics! Buster Keaton is one of my favourites!
And ever since I've seen this movie (which I now own, and have watched a gazillion times ) I've ALWAYS wanted to make grilled cheese sandwiches the way Sam does, AND mashed potatoes with a tennis racket! XD Always a dream of mine....maybe some day.
And FF, I LOOOOOVE the avvie! *SQUEEEEE*
Man, now I wanna watch this movie again!

Aww yeah, the scene in the park... it's brilliantly done. Do you know whether Depp is acting everything out himself?

Thanks Montana!
I'm excited to see that other people have seen and loved it. It seems like one of those movies not many people know about. I could never get tired of it!
Eä, yes Depp is doing all those tricks (except I think for when the hat is moving away from him and he's not touching it. lol. That bothers me a little bit.).
I watched all the special features and it was really interesting.
Yes, the diner scene! It is hysterical when he starts quoting the "horro" movie.

Perhaps it's true that not so many people know about it. But it was one of Depp's earlier movies and it isn't a big blockbuster so.... but the people who have seen it all love it!!
I want to do those things... must've been fun to learn!
Yeah, the hat trick... lol.

I've seen it!
It's not my favorite, but I really like it. It's so cute... Johnny is adorable! *huggles*
It was filmed in my home town (Spokane) too, so that makes it cool because I recognized most of the locations in the movies.

AWW!!! You're from Spokane?! That's AWESOME! I love Spokane! (I live 3 hours away!) We always go there for shopping. XD Ha ha ha!
And I just loved that it's filmed there. I don't know why...but it just seems to fit the movie. XD
And Ea, I think the name of the town is Spokane. But I can't remember. Ha ha ha.
And I would love to know how to do all those tricks too! That'd be SO much fun!

During that meeting, link the conversation led to link what a project between HODINKEE and L'Epee could look like, and we dreamed up something that would speak to our love of all things vintage, reimagined in a modern way. Along the way, we discovered that L'Epee knew of just 96 movements, made by Pontifa, left over from a project by another major brand that they had helped coordinate years before. These movements were out of production, never link to be made again. And we knew we had to grab them.
