Corison relaxed back against the pillows as rhe coughing fit ended. "I'm alright ... Just tired, I kept wakeing myself up last night." She pressed his hand to her cheek.

Lanie had gone downstairs. she saw mary ann in the kitchen.

" well your fineally up. how's corison?" Marry ann asked.
Lanie shrugged. " she fine now that David's there." she giggled.
Mary ann wrinkled her nose at Lanie. " well...thats to be expected. " she said." oh honey you must be hungry. can i make you something?"
Lanie thought. " could i have a sandwich? and maybe i could help you make it and i could make one for Corison too?" she remembered times she had cook food with her mom in the kitchen. she missed those days.

"It was when I was younger..." Corison said before a coughing fit cut her off. The next thing she was aware of was sitting on the couch with a warm blanket and David's strom arms around her. "Mmm... what ..." She felt weak, and so didn't try to sit up. She fell silent and just relaxed letting David hold her.
