And then Darcy almost punches him in the face because Mr. Collins is so small.
I just can't stop laughing when he is declaring "passionate love" for Lizzie

Oh, I see you changed your avvy, Taur! Although I loved the other one this one's pretty too.

^ He is? Cool! I'll look out for that too.
I feel sorry for him sometimes too. Especially at the end of Bingley's ball when he's just alone with the flower, and when he brings Lizzie one lone flower before he proposes. It's very sad.
Yes, I did. I really liked the other one too, but it was clashing with my banner and that was annoying me. And like I said a while back I imagine the avatars like faces and it was kind of weird how my "face" was a beach.

Yes, and practically everyone in the room goes quiet.
I know! It's so ironic.
And for some reason when he says "Engaged?" just sets me into fits of laughter.

It's probably a fairly small role but we'll still have to keep a weather eye out... and rewind and pause 'til we find him.
Oh, I know! *pouts* I just want to go up and give him a big hug... he is a kind of pitiful character... and sometimes he's so awkward and uncomfortable acting that I just want to get up and help him along a little.
Ah, I understand then. Oh, yes! Sometimes some of my "scene" avvies or "multiple people" avvies are a little less "face-y" than the other ones and it's a little harder to get use to them as your "face"... actually my "face-iest" one was my Arwen one. that one was pretty and like a "face". (her face too which makes it even prettier )

Nice use of quote. I wonder if he'll even be recognizable without the wooden eye.
*:hug:s Mr. Collins*
Really, there wasn't much wrong with him... even if he was a little selfish. Though I don't blame Elizabeth. I would have picked Mr. Darcy as well.
Well with the one you have now, I can see you as Elizabeth, who is conviently kissing Will at the time.

thanks! well, I've seen pics of his actor (on IMDB) so I guess I might be able to recognize him. When he's "un-pirate-atised" he's actually quite attractive.
I guess not... anyway, I don't blame her either... lol although maybe I shouldn't say that with Becky around he and Mr. Collines aren't THAT different. or are they?
hmmm, that's interesting. I guess I'm happy you see me as Elizabeth... and kissing Will too.
I see you as Elizabeth now too... just a different Elizabeth. and funny as it is we both look similer.

Certainly not all that bad-looking. Ironically, he has very bright, blue eyes.
Beckett is sort like... Mr. Collin's evil twin. (Which is a compliment, Becky! ) Think about it... one's a clergyman, one's a businessman. One's a very commanding, one is very humble. One is very clever, one reherses his manners... as so on!
Interesting how that works out.

I know!... although Ragetti's one eye isn't too much dimmer than his actor's eyes... nothing like what they did with Pinny's or Barby's at least.
that's an interesting way to put it! (really? How could that be a compliment? ) hmmm, that's very interesting.... Becky liked how you described him as a clever businessman... although he's not sure about commanding (he actually thought at first you were calling him the humble one... which he didn't mind but I had to break it to him that you weren't )
it is at that....

True, but I'm always drawn to look at the wooden eye, so I don't notice the other. I guess they figured one extremely uncomfortable contact was enough.
Well, um... I'm not sure how it's a compliment. I just didn't want Becky mad at me. Really? He doesn't seem humble at all to me. But maybe I just shouldn't of switched my sentences around.
And now you're completely Elizabeth. Congratulations, you have a face again!

lol well, sometimes I am too! It's so weird the way it moves around on it's own and creaks... I wonder how Mr. Crook did it... or if it was don't by computer (the moving around on it's own) I guess so! although it may not have been THAT bad... I mean I think everyone wore contacts except Lizzie and Will in those movies.
don't worry about it! He won't be mad at you! yeah... well, he really isn't... and I'm his "wife" so I think I should know. He's just being... too proud to admit he's not humble. (that sounded funny)
yup, I am! thanks! lol
(you know we've kind of run off with this thread )

'Ello poppets! You two have run off with this thread, but at least it's not dead.
I agree with PD, Mackenzie Crook is pretty attractive either way. And blue eyes are my undoing, so there you go...
And I really NEED to see Pride & Prejudice. I read the book in eighth grade but I never got around to seeing either of the movies...I don't really wanna see the six-hour one though, even though my mom wants me to.

Hey, Anie! yup! I think we did quite well in keeping it very alive, don't you Taur?
So now the truth finally comes out on why my dear Neice fell for Rags...
YES you do need to see it, Anie! I haven't read the book yet but the newer movie is one of my favorites.... we own the older one but I can never get the time to watch it. Either way though you really should see it.

Maybe.
I put a hold on it at the library website...there are way too many versions though.

Squee! I'd love to have you as a daughter, Inwe. That is if you'll have me... and Severus of course, as he'd be your father, don't ya know?
By the way, [@ Will and Anië] I hope the wedding is still on. If it is, I'd like to suggest a date. How's about the 6th of October at 3.00 GMT, in the chat? The WT is holding a party there and I thought it'd be the perfect opportunity to get everyone together at once.
As it is, this party is open to anyone else who may want to either [a] attend the wedding or [b] join the WT.

Perhaps a little too well. We did sort of take over...
*gasp* Anie, you haven't seen Pride & Prejudice? :O You definitely should! The 2005 version (with Keira) does a great job of including most everything while still keeping it pretty short.
