Cloudya looked over at Altadon. "I'm going to take a walk ... see what herbs I can find." She said as she stood and straightened the light blue gown she wore.

Altadon nodded and watched as she walked from the cave. She haddn't been herself since seeing Darren.

Meriana wraped her arms around him..." i will forever love you as well, Gold Dusk.." she lingered on his name for a moment. it dwelled on her lips like honey. she smiled. when she looked into his eyes it was as if all her troubles melted away into nothing.

Darren leaned his head on lili's sholder.
his mind drifted to Lili holding him, and teaching him things. his whole heart about about to be givin to her, but then a face appered in his mind...a face not of Lili's....."Cloudya..." he spoke her name outloud.

Lili pulled her hand from his grasp and stood up. "Bonded ... you must choose." She turned to walk into the cave. "Why don't you take a walk, the fresh air will do you good. You can call if you need me." She said as she stepped into the cool shadows.

Gold Dusk smiled feeling her relax in his arms. "My love ..." He wispered as he leaned down to kiss her.

Darren was getting fustrated..." i've already taken a walk...............................................ok well....yesterday...but no...why cant i have you both?? she had me and Altadon??" he said getting fustrated..very fustrated.

"Altadon is her first love ... As I must be to you ... you must forget about her if you are to complete your training to it's fullest." She beat her wings effectively putting the fire out. "Light the fire like you did earlier ... you must do that before we move on to harder tasks."

Cloudya sat by the waterfall the gentle rumble and soft mist soothing her nerves.

Darren stood up angry and growled. he walked over to the fire and threw an angry ball of fire onto it. he fercly walked over to Lili, kenlt down so that he was eye to eye with her. his face was angry looking, but in a passionate way. he kissed her full on the mouth and then spoke. " lilitricil(sp) i do love you.." he said before walking away.

Gold Dusk smoothed the hair back from Meriana's face. "I am so lucky... to be loved by you." He grinned.

Lili wanted to slap him as he leaned down to kiss her. She knew what he was thinking about. When he walked away she turned and walked back out onto the ledge. I'll be back later bonded... She thought before leaping into the air. She didn't bother to tell him where she was going, or when she would be back.

Darren grabbed a rock from the burning fire and threw it into a mosaic(sp) that Lili had made. he growled with anger as it shattered. he couldnt understand....

Meriana sighed. a life she thought would bring so much joy to her and Gold Dusk was lost, but she couldnt let herself fall into a pit. she had to pick herself up and keep going.
Meriana nodded to her husband and smiled. " i bet it is." she stood up and walked over to a cabnet(sp). " would you like something to eat? we have some bread and jam.." she said trying to get things back to where they used to be.

Gold Dusk smiled. "I want whatever you are in the mood for."

Lili landed on the branch of a tree and sat down. She felt as if she had been pushed away. She loved Darren with every fiber of her being and yet his heart belonged to another. If a dragon could have cried she would have.

Meriana thought..." i'm in the mood for some strawberries.." she said as she shut the cabnet door. " lets go for a walk." she said smiling.

Darren sat in the shattered peices of the art, he tried to reason, he tried to understand. his heart could only belong to one. he couldnt choose. he loved them both. why was that such a sin? he couldnt understand.
he remembered something that his father would tell him every time Darren's mother would make him mad. <i> love is an act of will</i>
the words echoed in his head. " i'm going to have to willfully love one of them..." he said outloud to himself. Darren knew where his heart should lay.
maybe, just maybe he could fall back in love with Cloudya..but...if he wanted to fullfill his destiney(sp) then he had to love Lilitrcel(sp).
Darren stood up from the broken peices and cleaned them up, after that he made some food. hopefully Lili would eat food cooked just once tonight. he lit some candles upon it and then sat down, he now waited for his beloved.

Cloudya wandered home after gathering some of the herbs she needed. Altadon had done much the same thing as Darren.
Cloudya couldn't help but smile at the food set out on the table.

Lili didn't go home until after the sun had sat. She had taken her frustraions out on a small boulder at the base of the mountain. She landed on the ledge outside of the cave. A light from inside caught her attention and she stepped into the darkened cave.

Darren had layed his head down on the table just for a moment and then had fallen asleep. footsteps into the cave woke him. he stood up and turned around. when he saw it was Lili he relaxed. " Lili..before you say anything, i have something to tell you" he said

Lili stared for a moment stunned by the scene in front of her. She couldn't have said anything if she had wanted to. She looked over at Darren, but couldn't hold his gaze, so instead she focued her attention on the floor. She waited for him to speak.

Darren walked twards her and lifted her chin ( i'm asuming she's in human form) he kissed her lightly. when he did. only thoughts of her came to his mind, not cloudya. he pulled away and sighed. " i love you, and only you." he said.

the day had almost gone by, Gold Dusk and Meriana were sitting by the fire they had made outside of their home. " what do you think about what's happening with Cloudya and the villages around us? do you think we are in any kind of danger?" she asked, snuggling closer to Gold Dusk in the blanket they were wrapped in.
