Seeing as the last Member Awards were in March, shouldn't they have started in September? (Or am I remembering incorrectly that we were on a six-month schedule?)

Hmm, no, I think you're right, Rin. I thought we were on a 3 month schedule actually, where we only do half of the awards or something like that.. Anyway, I had half a mind to post something about these myself. I'd love to see them back..

I really enjoy the Member Awards and look forward to them. It would be a shame to forget about them!

Well I know the Mods and Arwen have been really busy over the summer, and what with the Return of the Rings to organise as well. But even so, I hope that at least, the awards from three months ago that never happened and the awards that are due about now, are combined or something, as it would be a shame to miss some categories completely because they should have happened months ago.

All right, we apologize, guys. We've been so busy that it probably just slipped out minds. I'm not usually the one to organize member awards, as it's always been in Ivy's great hands, but I'll speak to her and the other mods to try and get the round started soon. Perhaps this can be our newest starting off point, after the member awards here, we can wait another 6 months, because overlapping, underlapping gets complicated. Thank you, Riniel for pointing it out to us.

*gasp* I forgot about the member awards! I would love to see them up again too - it was always fun nominating people.

Since Ivy's always in charge of the member awards, we don't feel comfortable trying to start the round without her and she has reassured as that she will try to get them up a week from tomorrow as she's very, very, very busy as we all are. So sit tight and look forward to our Member Awards Round 07!

Are we able to at least know what awards will be hosted? That member awards post is really really confusing.

This also had crossed my mind recently. I was wondering when there was going to be another one but I am not completely familiar with how often the Member Awards were held.

The next half of the awards are the awards that were given in Round 5. Check back in the Member Awards section if you would like to see what kind of awards they are, we can probably give you further details once Ivy gets it all organized.

Yay for member awards! I've been wondering when they'd be up, but I had no idea it was more than six months since the last. Time passes quickly

Just wondering if anything new had developed about this--any new news, Mods?

Since this was a topic that was roughly about what I was going to say, Ill post here.
I was going through the awards list, and have realised that there is no award for best poet on A-U. This I think is a bit strange since there is one for RP ing and one for graphics. So why arent poets as appreciated, or it is just me?
