(Awww. We'll miss you Amoniel. Hope that life gets better soon)

"Nice to meet you too." Katherine said with a smile. "Yeah, I know what you mean, though. The past camps I have been to were not the best either" she replied. "Who knows, maybe this year will be better....at least that is what I hope." she added with a slight smirk.

Amaril Andul climbed slowly onto the bus, her nose buryed in her latest obsessesion, The Sword of Shannara trilogy. Ignoring everyone, she made her way to the very back of the bus, where she wouldn't be disturbed, took off her bulging backpack and sat. Leaning her head aginst the back of the seat in front of her, she was so absorbed in her book that she did not notice the rising noise around her.

[[Bumpin'...Sorry about this guys! I forgot about it... ]]
After what seemed like a century and a half, the bus slowly began pulling onto a dirt path leading through patches of lush green trees. A large wooden sign appeared with "Camp Arikara" painted gracefully in black.
The bus stopped and the driver opened the doors, letting the teenagers scramble out into the fresh air. Devlin was smiling as she talked to Katherine, "So, what cabin are you staying in?"
Jason quickly made his way off of the bus, bumping into Craig by accident and dropping the thick copy of "The Lord of the Rings" by the other boy's feet. "I'm sorry," Jason mumbled, reaching down for his book.

Someone beat Jason too it. A hand reached down and picked up the book. Two blue-grey eyes stared at the cover, then up at Jason. "The Lord of the Rings? Good choice." Amaril smiled shyly and handed the book back to Jason.

"I'm in the Iroquois Cabin." Katherine replied. "How about you?" she asked as she looked around. Well it looks like just about every other camp I have been to. she thought to herself, not sure what to make of it. "Wonder what our councilors are like..." she thought as she mused out loud.

Andi breathed in the fresh air and looked at the other kids in doubt whether to make a talk or not. When he decided not to he walked onto the camp ground and he took the form, which his mother had packed with his stuff when he'd refusedto pack, from his bag and found that he was in the Algonquin Cabin. After finding the Cabin he quickly entered. There was a bunk bed and a single bed at the window. Andi threw his bag on the ground and stretched on the single bed quite satisfied with himself.

Craig stepped off of the bus. He pulled out a piece of paper that had his cabin name on it.
"Algonquin cabin. Again," he said, not supprised.
He made his way to the cabin, and once inside found a boy had already claimed the single bed. Craig shrugged and threw his bags onto the top bunk of the bunkbed.

Taking the book, Jason grinned. "Thanks. My name is Jason," he said, a slight blush creeping onto his face.

"Iroquois, too!" Devlin smiled as they made their way to the cabin - a large wooden building placed close to the still lake. On the door was a note -
'Ladies, welcome to the Iroquois Cabin. Please make yourselves at home and after you get settled in, report to the pavillion near the camp entrance. Thanks - Olivia, Iroquois Cabin Counselor.'

"Cool!" Katherine replied, quite pleased to be sharing a cabin with the girl. As they stepped inside Katherine turned to Devlin. "Upper or lower bunk or single bed?" she asked her new friend, giving Devlin the first choice. "It doesn't really matter with me."

"Lower Bunk," Devlin smiled, slinging her bags onto the matress. "I don't want to risk falling off in the middle of the night." She began unpacking before noticing scratches on the doorframe. They almost looked like... claw marks.. Shrugging she continued pulling out a stuffed bear and placed it on the pillow. "I'm sorry if it seems foolish to have a stuffed animal. But this was given to me by my great-grandmother."

"That's fine." Katherine replied smiling. "Stuff animals can sometimes make the best friends-they don't whisper any secrets told to them in confidence." she added with a wink. "Guess, I'll take the top then" she said as she climbed the ladder. On her way to the top bunk she noticed the deep scratches on the frame. Wonder what those are from she thought. Oh well, they must be old-nothing to worry about. With that she tossed her bag on the bed before sitting on it and starting to unpack.

Running to catch up to the other girls, Amaril caught a glmpse of the claw marks. Wargs aren't real... But if they were... she suddered and left the left the thought unfinished as she hurried up the steps into the Iriqous Cabin. "May I have an upper bunk please? Whatever scratched the door also came inside, and i do not wish to be anywhere near it." She pointed to the floor, where several deep scraches criss-crossed the floor like lacerations from a cat-o-nine-tales.

Once inside the cabin, Jason had found the exact same note from the counselors taped to their door.

Andi barely looked up when two other boys entered. He didn't plan on trying to become their friend. He'd tried that so many times but nobody liked him. So why would they be different? Andi closed his eyes, ignoring the fact he had to report with the councilors within a few minutes.
