Corison opened her eyes and took the bottle of water. She drank a little of it then looked up as the bell sounded.

Sylan came out and sat on a bench to wait for his round.

Corison reached over and slid her hand into David's.

Lanie watched the fighting intensly jumping with every sound of the bell. she hoped sylan would be ok.

Corison looked over at David and smiled weakly, then nodded.

Sylan's first two opponents were fairly easy and he took them down quickly. However he was tireing quickly and the third was a little harder to bring down.

Sylan managed to brind down his 4th opponenet, then took a short break for water and got back in the ring for the 5th.
Corison let go of David's hand and stood up along with most of the croud. She climbed up on David's chair, standong behind him, so she wouldn't fall.

Sylan caught sight of his sister standing in the croud. This is for her!!! He thought as he slammed his fist into his oponents stomach.

Corison cheered as her brother brought down his last opponent, but stopped. Something didn't feel right. She gripped David's shoulder as a sudden coughing fit shook her and quickly pulled out the handkerchief she had stuffed in her pocket before they had left the house. She covered her mouth muffling the sound.

David turned and looked at her. " corison, honey, are you ok?" this seemed like one of the worst coughing fits he had ever seen her have.

Lanie's full attention was now on her sister as well. she looked scared

A sharp metalic taste filled her mouth, and she glanced down at the handkerchief. Bright red spots stained the white cloth.
Corison tried to catch her breath, but only started coughing again.
When the attack ended she leaned against David her whole body trembling from the effort it was taking to remain contious. "David ..."

Lanie was offically freaking out. she pulled out her cell phone and called Mary ann.

David saw the blood and was now in tears. " yes corison? please keep talking." he took her from off the seat and set her in his lap.

Lanie right beside him. " i've already got that down." she said with her cell phone out calling 9-1-1.

"David is she ok?" Mary ann came running over to the car noticing all the comotion.

Corison heard Mary Ann speaking as if from a distance. Her vision blured and she raught to stay awake. A deep breath sent her into another coughing fit.
When it ended she relaxed back against David's arms shivering. Her mind played tricks on her, teasing her with memories from long ago.
"Fire...!" She wispered unaware of low fever that had blosomed into something very dangerous.

David looked up at his mom with a worried expression.
"shh...corison it's ok we'll get you help." said Mary Ann seemingly calm.

Lanie was already trying to hold back the tears.

siren's blaring the ambulence came and 2 cop cars came as well.
the medic jumped out of the car with his bag. Lanie gave him all the info he needed to know. soon Corison was in the ambulence and lanie was riding with her.

The medic started an IV and slipped an oxygen mask over her face. Corison turned to look at her sister, and slowly lifted her hand. "Lanie ... "

"This should help her relax..." The medic said as he gave her a shot. With in moments she was asleep leaving her sentence unfinished.

"NO!!...why'd you do that?" Lanie asked clearly angry..
she finally broke down in tears.
in minuets they were at the hospital. they took Corison away and left lanie in the waiting room.

David was right behind the Ambulence the cop cars letting him speed along behind them.
he parked and was soon in the waiting room where he and Mary Ann found lanie crying.
in public, which never happend.

David knelt down in front of Lanie. " sweetie i need you to talk to me..what happend in there?" he asked calmly rubbing her sholders.
" this is worse than ever before David." she looked up at him with bloodshot eyes.
David hugged her. " it will be ok." he said not really believeing his own words.

Mary Ann went to the font desk to find out where they had taken Corison.
