"Yeah, those blasted noises that caused me to come down here in the first place," Kira spoke aloud, "I was hoping to come upon a wee little bit less, but it doesn't seem that I have had much luck."

Mr Elgeston wanted to smack Kira across the face, but his morals reminded him not to. Never hit a lady, his mother's words roamed through his thoughts. So, instead, he walked up to the PI's and gazed at all of there little gagdets. Pointing at the EVP, Ted asked, "Mind if I take a look? I do a bit of fiddling in difficult cases and such myself."

Bridget nodded at Kira. "It's the ghosts." It was hard to tell if she was kidding or not. "You can look, just make sure you don't push any buttons." Bridget said to Ted. The equipment was made to withstand extreme circumstances, but it never hurt to be careful with it.

Catalina looked up from the magazine as she heard the conversation. "Great." she murmured. "Ghosts are the last thing I need." she muttered to herself.

"I'm not sure." Bridget responded to Grant. "It would probably be best sometime tonight, when there aren't so many people around." She shot Ted a pointed glance, not sure if he noticed.
She looked at Callisto and smiled. "If there are ghosts around, we'll find them."

Catalina ignored Callisto, not wanting to start a dispute with a girl she hardly knew. She had debated checking out early, but she still had a few days more before visiting her family. You are just being paranoid. I am sure there is a logical explanation. she thought to herself.

Hannah was about to say a remark when she was pushed aside from one of the other residents at the hotel, but remembering her father was right there, she decided not to.

Aaron looked up at his fellow PI.
"Well, already I've got something on EVP. We can check it out afterwards, or you can check it out now. It's freaky." He nodded to what the other invetigators said, and ignored the statements from the other people staying at the hotel if they were snide remarks...

Kira walked under to the EVP, wondering what all of the fuss is about. "It tries to predict the exsistance of ghosts, I bet, but I just know that everyone else is insane. My philosophy explains a lot of things in life. While, the other only speaks of why some little kids are scared on Halloween."

Haley bit her lip, eyes practically fixated on the digits in the EMF screen. 0.4...0.5...0.3....
"Darnit," she whispered to herself, looking around. Average base reading, no spikes. Nothing interesting. Of course, she couldn't have expected much, seeing as most of the activity was reported to be in the attic rather than the floor below it. Still, it was always good to scope out the entire vicinity, especially the areas surrounding the high-activity zone. Still, she paused in her tracks as Grant's voice came into her mind: 'Sometimes, when there's activity a lot of areas, it's good to investigate the room of least activity, because that's where the entity hides.'
She smiled to herself, and snapped her fingers. That was it - of course, the others may have thought of it already, but one never knew. She turned back to the staircase, starting the descent down to the lobby.
Some people might look at her, a Chapman University graduate, and ask her what she was doing - she was a musician and a paranormal investigator. Most people would say that neither one is a real job - she should've gone and gotten a job in some hospital or something. Truth was, she loved her performing job...and had always been fascinated by the paranormal. She found all of the mystery, the enigma, the 'darkness,' the uncertainty...intriguing and fascinating. Of course, she couldn't go on too many hunts...she didn't always have the time. But she went to as many as "Haley-ly" possible.
Just before she stepped onto the second-floor flight, she heard someone ask, "What are you doing here?"
She whipped around, scanning the area for the source of the voice. Nothing. It had sounded distant, almost like someone had lowered the volume on a TV. She wrinkled her brow, then descended the stairs at a faster pace and jogged into the lobby. "Sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry!" she called. "I was tied up on the third floor. What'd I miss?" she asked. "Oh, and Grant -" she said, turning to the lead investigator, "How normal is it to hear voices?" she asked rhetorically with a huge smile. Of course, she was no novice, and knew that disembodied voices meant spirits. But she asked the question as an interesting way of saying 'I heard a voice!' After all, she was usually the cheery little P.I. of the team.

Bridget picked up her own EVP device as Haley came down the stairs. "You didn't miss much." She said to her fellow PI. "We're going to go investiage the attic, if we can."
