Halt stated, he had a feeling that the other rangers were scared, no not scared, scared was too strong, fearful was more the correct word. Yes, they were scaryish and powerful, but all Halt was, was shocked, not fearful. He had thought that his apprentice had gotten the last of them, perhaps they had been miscounted.

Halt looked at Gilan, his eyes glancing at Gilan's apprentice, then to his apprentice, then back to him. "We should ask, though I think the Kalkara are part of the reason why we are gathered here. I will be one to go after them." Halt began. He paused, to gather his thoughts then continued. "Even though I will probably regret it, I think Will, you and your apprentice should come as well." Halt said, his mind drifting back to what had happened to Will a couple years ago.

Halt looked at Aaron. "Pardon?" He asked, faking a surprise, pretending that he haden't heard what the ranger had asked. He looked at Aaron with his dark eyes, his face showing no emotion.

Crowley sat on a log, thinking about the meeting. He was the leader of the Ranger Corps, and therefore it was his job to tell the rangers the problem, and what they would do about it. He kicked his foot backwards, hitting the log hard.

Will stood a little behind Halt, waiting for Aaron to speak again. He eased the quiver of arrows on his shoulder.
