Goldleaf walked over to the edge of the group with a small smile as the rangers started to walk away, shouldering their bows. The Ithillien woods were unusually busy. She slipped her hand of her sword-hilt to prove she was no foe, and stopped.

She addressed all of them, "I did not expect to meet such large a party of people in times of war such as this. I am Goldleaf." She inclined her head slightly.

Turwaithiel glanced at the dwarf, and said, "Hump, we will see, won't we?" Did he not think she could not give respect? She would so him, she would! Then, she noticed they were introducing themselves. "I am Turwaithiel, She-warrior of the Mirkwood forest."

Falcon glanced at the group and back from Garson and Turwaithiel and grinned before introducing himself. "I am Falcon, Ranger from the Seas." He turned to Goldleaf, and said, "Nor did I, but it seems that that is so, and now that we are all here, we need to figure out why."

"Perhaps we are all here for common purpose," Goldleaf suggested. "A shadow lies upon Gondor. May I venture to suppose that we are all here for the war effort?" She smiled, and sat down on a rock. "The rangers will be at a loss. Never before have they dealt with so many visitors here in Ithillien, land of the fountains."

Goldleaf paused, and looked down at her feet. She looked up again, as if to make a comment, but only folded her arms gently and glanced up at the sky.

Falcon glanced down, nodding at Goldleaf's comment. He did not even think of what the Rangers would think, but maybe this was a chance for him to take charge and prove himself worthy as on one of there comrads.

Rain scratched her head unsuredly.
"Well, I guess you could say I'm here for the war effort, being a mercinary and all. I'm heading to Minas-Tirith, though," she said, glancing back at Turwaithiel, and then to the others in the group. Her eyes lingered on Falcon, but only a moment longer before she looked the dwarf, and then the hobbit.
"And, being a maiden from Gondor, I think I have the right to ask, what brings such an interesting group here?"

Turwaithiel nodded, giving Rain a sign that she would still with Rain until death. Falcon looked up and listened to Rain as she spoke, his eyes meeting hers for a moment before he looked down back at the ground.

"I am indeed here to help fight the war," Tielen said. "I thought I could do more here than in the city." She turned to Rain. "You are a mercenary and thus fight for the side that offers you the most money. What will you do if offered more money by the other side?"

Rain's heart started to pound in her chest, or fealt like it to her, when Tielen asked her the question that she had hoped no one would ask, even see that side of a mercinary, not yet. But, she found a sutable answer in her head, which was the truth.
"I would turn down the offer, unless threatened with my life. I'm not a money hog like most mercinaries, but I wouldn't throw away my life so easily. Well, at least for strangers," she replied, her voice not showing her uneasiness...

Turwaithiel jumped in, trying to help her friend. "I also have known her well. I vow on my life that if she was to go to the other side if more money was offered to her freely, without her life being at stake, and should she risk or endanger ours, then you may freely take mine, and I shall not resist." She told the group, looking at each person in the eye. "I have enough faith in her, though, to not worry about having to take such matters."

Goldleaf had not spoken all the while. She smiled. "We are all here to help Gondor," she said. "The steward, it could be said, is lucky to have such loyal allies."

"But, I just watched the Ithilian rangers walk away as Turwaithiel and I walked up. So, in that case, I think they know we mean no harm," Rain said, glad for the change of topic. "But I have no time for that. I'm going to Minas-Tirith."
