Here's my bio- I wasn't sure what the doctor's rank would be, so I left that out for now.
Name: Quinton Delaney. He goes by Quin
Species: Human
Age: 37
Position: Doctor
Rank: O3-Lieutenant
Affiliation: Argosy Medical Corp
Physical Discription/Distinguishing Physical Characteristics: He's tall and thin. He has short reddish-brown hair and brown eyes.
Background: Nothing too exciting- he graduated from medical school and went straight to work, learning everything he could about healing and gaining experience. He was assigned to the Crimson Sunrise as doctor.
Personality: Quin cares deeply about his patients, and will do whatever he can to help them. He's normally friendly and rather quiet, but has a temper that can flare when he gets especially angry.
Is it ok?
I'm excited- I found a place online where I can watch Andromeda episodes! Woot!

Of course you may join. Any particular position you would like me to describe?
***
Elenya: for rank, I don't know. I'll allow you to pick between AO2 through AO4. His Affiliation would be Argosy Medical Corp, those two were just there as examples because I couldn't think of anything else.
Lady Gweniven McAlester: the AI's Affiliation would be 'Shipboard AI.' You will also control all the other robots on the ship as they are part of 'you.' Here's that info again:
The Sunrise’s artificial personal comprise of: Multipurpose Shipyard Robots (wheeled robotic units used for basic duties such as delivery and maintenance), General Utility Androids (human sized robots, they perform a wide variety of maintenance tasks including advising and helping crew members in the performance of their duties, as well as acting as guards. They are seen standing two per door holding force lances guarding the Captain's office), and Planetfall Defense (OEBots). The Sunrise carries two OEBots equipped with an array of large gauss guns. They are used only in the event of a full-scale pitched battle and can be deployed on land or in space, on the hull of capital ships. They can fire on large groups of people or focus shots on just one. They can also shoot down ships the size of fighters or as big as a cargo ship. The Sunrise’s OEBots arm-mounted weapon modules can contain 1-3 groups of gattling guns as well as shoulder-mounted missile tubes.

Okay, I'm going to start this up soon. Anyone who still wishes to join can easily do so for the next week or so and then it'll be harder, but you still can.
I'll get the first 'real' post up tomorrow or the next day.

Oops...sorry.
THe age would be however old the ship is. (not sure if I said that and if I didn't then you can just make up the age you want) She wouldn't have a rank and personality and bio I'm completly fine with you developing as you go.
I'll try and find if I posted the Sunrise's age and repost/edit this post so you don't have to search for it. If I can't find it I'll just say here too.
[EDIT] I didn't say the ship's age, so you can just leave it blank or put what you think is reasonable. An idea for the bio would be where the Sunrise was constructed and who her captians have been before Gray.

OOC: Okay, here we go. IC: Captain David Gray stepped off the shuttle and his boots touched the deck of the Crimson Sunrise for the first time. She was just like any other Glorious Heritage heavy cruiser in the High Guard Navy, but each ship had her own feel; her own personality, both in the AIs and the ship herself. Most people thought that all ships of the same class were identical in every way. In reality, each was very different from the other. Admittedly, they had the same space, the same rooms, and the same number of people; but often the biggest difference was how they sounded. Each ships engines reverberated through the hull in a slightly different way, depending on how pure the metals used in construction were and other factors. Battle scars, usually removed but sometimes allowed to remain if the crew and captain wish them to also added to each ship's persona. Over the next few days, perhaps even as long as a week, the crew would begin to filter onboard and become acquainted with the Sunrise. There was no rush, since the Treaty of Antares had halted the war with the Magog; the Commonwealth was in a time of relative peace. No one in the High Guard, Gray included, harbored any doubt that the war with the Magog would start up again and viewed this as only a temporary cease-fire and not and time of peace. In the meantime, both sides would be building up their fleets and armies, but only time would tell who would get the most out of this treaty. Captain Gray had come in on the second wave of personal; the first wave comprised of support personal. Supplies and material would also be coming onboard for the next week or so: 'Lances, armour, nanobots for the med bay, slipfighters, and other essential items. The process would of course be complicated by the fact that every Captain had a certain way that they liked things to be done and how things should be stored and Gray was not exception to that fact. Gray looked around for the Crimson Sunrise's physical AI avatar and when he did not see her in the bay, Gray decided that his first task would be to find here. Well, his first task after he put his bags in his quarters. Gray hoisted the bag over his shoulder, not even thinking about the force needed to pull it up. It had become second nature to correct for the difference in gravity onboard a High Guard starship compared to his home world, a high-gravity planet. He strode out of the bay and set off for the Captain’s quarters to stow his gear, mentally reviewing a map of the interior of a Glorious Heritage cruiser so he didn't get lost. Wouldn't that make a great impression, he though, getting lost in the first five minutes on the ship.
OOC: Okay, everyone post when you are ready. I'm also going to make up another character as a second-in-command for the Lancers unless Caunion wants that position or Nauriel would perfer I didn't.

OOC: No problem. And being a Nietzschean is fine with me, unless he or she is a scientist. Unless you have a good reasonfor why a Nietzschean is a scientist.

Okay...here goes my post. Tell me if anything is innacurate (And go ahesd, make that second in command lancer.)
Fenris, know to most as just Fen, stepped deliberatly onto the ship shouldering his luggage with ease. A quick glance around allowed him a view of his surroundings, and gave him the directions to his quarters. He opened the door and threw his pack onto the small cot, carfull to keep the strap from snagging on his bone blades. He left the room without unpacking, prefering to put it off as long as possible.

Ok
Name: Thaniel Mossanc
Species: Nietzschean
Age: 35
Position: Was a Captain of the Scorpio, now the Admiral.
Rank: Argosy 0-10
Affiliation (Exe:Argosy Special Ops or Lancer Corp): Drago-Kazov Pride, Chimera Clan
Physical Discription/Distinguishing Physical Characteristics: Extremely tall even for a Nietzschean. Three scars mark his cheek where he was attacked when a Magog raid destroyed his home.
Background: He was the son of the Alpha Male of the Chimera Clan and the Clan Matriarch on the planet of Hawking. As such, he had to prove his worth to his parents to ensure his own survival in the clan. However, twelve years after he became an adult, a Magog raid destroyed his entire clan, including his father. The raid left Thaniel scarred for life. He could have it healed easily but he felt that he needed that to remind him of what he must do: destroy any and all Magogs. Now clanless, none of the other clans would adopt him so he had to enlist in the Argosy. His natural leadership skills and charisma made him the unofficial leader of the Nietzscheans that worked with him in the Scorpio, a DSA II. However his ardent and outspoken vendetta against the Magogs, his fierce opposition to the treaty, and his natural arrogance convinced his superiors to not promote him any further than Captain. Finally a chance came to both fulfill his rightful position and avenge his clan came when the Nietzschean prides plotted among themselves to overthrow the System Commonwealth. Steps had been taken to ensure Thaniel's rise in the Scorpio.
Personality: Extremely arrogant and stubborn, yet cunning and brilliant. He values any other life than Nietzschean life inferior and worthless.
Now, my post:
Captain Thaniel Mossanc pretended to monitor the smart missile launchers from the bridge when in actuality, he was waiting. Waiting for that fateful signal that will change everything. No longer will he have to hide and wait for the months of System Commonwealth bureaucrats, writing and approving and debating and arguing over issues while his own people were being slaughtered by those inferior Magogs. Treaty with the Magogs, he thought viciously. He hadn't heard of anything more ridiculous than that. You can't negotiate those...creatures. The only thing you could do is just destroy them.
Finally it came. The signal from the Hephaistos System, alerting Thaniel of the uprising. And now it was his turn. He nodded at Klaille, another Nietzschean on bridge, who nodded in turn. Thaniel withdrew his lancer, aimed for the unsuspecting Admiral who was gazing out of the window, and shot him in cold blood. By the time the rest of the crew onboard the bridge had realised what had happened, it was far too late. Klaille had unlocked the weapon storage nearby and handed out gauss rifles to all the Nietzscheans that was present. This was repeated throughout the entire ship. Finally the Nietzscheans getting what they deserved.
"What is the meaning of this?" demanded one of the officers.
Thaniel turned to him and said "We're taking control of this ship."
Just then the AI spoke to them. But it wasn't the same AI that had spoken to them for the fifteen years the ship has been operated. A different one was created by a special Nietzschean team of computer engineers spoke. "Greetings, Nietzscheans," it said. "I am Scorpio Mark 2, a far more superior form. All non-Nietzscheans will be escorted to the prison cells for termination. I repeat, all non-Nietzscheans will be escorted to the prison cells for terminations. Any resistance will be destroyed immedieately."
This day, Thaniel gloated, couldn't be any better.

OOC: Good bio, at first I wondered what you were doing but then remembered that the guy was a bad guy. Reminds me, I need to make a main bad guy bio too (Alpha of the Drago-Kazov Pride). Both posts are good too, except for one thing: the weapons lockers would contain Force Lances not gauss rifles as it [s]is[/s] was a High Guard ship.
IC: The All Systems Commonwealth had recieved the message from the Andromeda Asendant's crew moments after the Nietzscheans recieved their signal. The bureaucrats dismissed it pending 'further investigation,' but the Admirals knew that something like this couldn't wait for 'further investigation.' One Admiral in particular, Karl Sandecker, decided to do something about it, without official orders.
The signal went to the nearest ships to the Hephaistos system, the Scorpio and her task force, with the highest priority Sandecker could give it without alerting the bureaucrats. The signal was directed to the Scorpio along, his fellow Admiral's personal line.
OOC: Ship communications are real time, though with slight lag over such a distance. I'll leave it up to you to figure out your character's response, Caunion. However, I'll still be writing the Admiral's half of the dialouge.

"Admiral," Garis, the communications director, cried to Thaniel. "We have an incoming message from Admiral Sandecker."
The coup of the Scorpio took less than an hour. All of the Nietzscheans revolted and all non-essential non-Nietzscheans were detained in the prison cells. Such as the entire bridge, save for the Nietzscheans which represented half of them. Thaniel looked up and went to the communication panel. He read Sandacker's request for the Scorpio and her task force to investigate the Nietzschean uprising and grinned maliciously. He then ordered, "Jam all communications to and from the task force, save this ship. Then commence an attack on the task force. I don't think there were any Nietzscheans on board in those ships. Then repeat exactly what I say yo Admiral Sandecker: It appears an electromagnetic pulse has disabled most of the task force's communications. We are trying our best to repair the systems to re-establish contact with them. Once repaired, we will investigate the Hephaistos system."
