Iris had been watching the group fight the demons, but, in the middle of all of the fighting, was soon overwhelmed with fear that she hid away into the center of the bush.
--------------------------
Fisco's mouth dropped in amazement, watching the people battle out the demons. He, himself, did not have a sword or weapon, for that matter, and so only mocked fighting the demons with punches in the air.
After the group was done killing off all of the demons, he ran up to one of the fallen demons and yelled, "Woah. That was awesome!!"
Reaching down, Fisco grabbed a hold of one of the demon's sword and, while trying to lift it up, fell over.

Aaron turned abrutly when another hobbit jumped out of the bushes and tried to pick up a deomon's sword.
"Well, that must be the young hobbit-lass's daughter," he said to himself, then said to Frisco. "Awesome? That's everyday life out here."

(You mean brother right? )
"No. It is awesome," Fisco corrected Aaron, trying again to pick up the sword but failing, "You see. At home, when we play a prank on our overseer. Even though it is something about everyday, it is stilll awesome everytime."

Arwyn couldn't help but smile at the young hobbit's enthusiasm. "I admire your spirit, master hobbit-but war is never fun." she said gently.

Aryion nodded at Vertha and said, "Thank you." Then, he quickly followed her and Arruina and he couldn't help the feeling that there where a curious pair of eyes on his back...and it didn't help that his crystal began to glow again (it had stopped glowing a few moments after it started eariler) and now it began to heat up, in a sense. What did this all mean?

((Hey Eru, how 'bout we pretend that Arruina healed Paloc awhile back? For story purposes. lol))
As the group got ready to head to the look out post, Paloc waited for a moment, looking back at the freshly turned soil, and the axe planted in it. Rest well, strangers. He thought. I owe my life to you.
Turning, he walked up to the others. "A half a mile, you say? That's not bad at all."

(@ smeag: I meant brother... but thats what happens when you're tired, lol!
@ Elenya: ok! And sorry for leaving you a few pages behind...)
Arruina nodded, and made her way down a trail that to those without the trained eye wouldn't have noticed it was a trail. It didn't take long before they came to a a small tower that barely came above the trees, and was painted to look like forest. Next to it was a good sized lean-to that was painted in the same manner. Inside stood about half a dozen horses munching on hay. Most of the horses were already saddled and bridled. "Pick any horse you like. No one particularly owns them. They are just taken as needed. Names are engraved on the bridles," she said, picking a dapple grey gelding named Starstorm.

"Because the reaction and the product of the prank is funny every time. Not all battles turn out perfect victories, you hobbit. Some turn out devistating, and are even lost by the good-guys," Aaron replied. "And try choosing a dagger instead of a heavy demon sword."

Aryion nodded, even though his mind ws still elsewhere. He still felt another odd sensation...like another presense was still there, watching him...he didn't like this feeling. But for now, he would have to put it behind him. He walked over to a black mare with a small white streak down it's nose, and looked at the name plate. Her name was Lightstar. He smiled. He liked the name. He stroked her mane affectionately and she whinning softly in reply. "I would like this mare, if I may." He said to Arruina.
((EDIT: Hey Raven, that person my char senses is your char...is that okay?))

Arruina smiled slightly as she lead Starstorm out of the lean-to. "Have her. Like I said, any of these horses are taking. They're all young and fresh, and trained for speed and endurance," she said...

"She is also very majestic. Thank you." Aryion said simply as he also lead his mare out, talking to her softly to earn her trust.

Arruina nodded, and waited for the others to choose their steeds.

Fisco simply staring up at Aaron and Arwyn; he was not able to comprehend death or loss to the extent they spoke of. He knew of death, but he was too young to fully understand it. The only question going through Fisco's mind was what truly happened there and why he was not able to have a part in all of the fun.
His thought cut out when Iris emerged from the bush and tore Fisco up. "You idiot!" she yelled at him, "You could have been killed. Sometimes I question if you really are indeed the older one."

Vertha patiently waited for her newly made friends to pick their horses. She smiled brightly at Larkus who was impatiently pacing. After they finished picking their horses, they would ride to the citadel. She was still nervous about how they would be accepted. No outsider has ever been brought inside Leslia for over three centuries. Or so as Larkus kindly reminded her earlier.

Aryion rode out on his mare and he nodded at Vertha. "Thank you for letting me come along, Vertha." He said simply, his wolf trotting along side of his horse now and a hawk soaring above him as well. Aryion was known among the Elves to be able to speak to those of the forest. It was one of his best skills.

Arruina was about to mount when she felt a burning against her leg. She stuck her hand in her pocket and pulled out her Soul Crystal, but dropped it to the ground emediatly and yelped. It was glowing brightly with a silver light, and had burned Arruina's hand. She blew on her fingers to cool her hurtting fingers, glaring at the crystal...
~~~~~~~
Aaron couldn't help but smile as the hobbit girl jumped out of the bushes and started yelling at her brother.
"Well, he isn't dead, right? Now, what are your names? I'm Aaron, and this is Saradh," he said, tilting his head tward the albino tiger when he said her name, and waited for the hobbit's reply.
Aryion looked at Arruina and at the ground, then back at Arruina. "You...you have a crystal too?" He asked, his voice faltering slightly. Was she the reason his burned so? No. Aryion heard his heart say. Something in the wood burns the stone beside your heart... Aryion instictively looked towards the woods, then back at Arruina, confused.
