Aiko turned swiftly and blocked his stroke with her sai before striking back with one of her own. She could feel a deep-seated hatred burning within her like a raging fire and she longed nothing more than to slay her foe.

Zutao blocked and kicked her in the stomach as he did so, then brought his katana crashing down.

Aiko grimaced inwardly as she fell back-careful not to display any other sign of weakness before her opponent. She barely managed to raise her sai to block his downward stroke as she mentally chastised herself for her carelessness. As their blades remained locked in combat, she slowly pushed herself to her feet once again as she glared at him with hate-filled eyes.

"I think the dogs annoyed" smiled Zutao, covering a look of surprise at her streanth as she pushed his katana away. He broke the lock with some dificulty and leaped back slightly, makeing a small motion with his eyes for her to begin the next round.

Aiko showed little emotion as she leapt up after him. In a fluid motion she threw some of her shuriken at him to either pin him or throw him off balance so she could move in for another strike.

Zutao threw himself to the side, however he was not quick enough and one imbeded itself deep within his arm. He gave it an experimental tug and a sasm of pain shot across his face. But it was in too deep. He saw her about to follow up her advantage and created a wall of ice around himself. He stood up slowly behind it; a strage look in his eyes. "You fight well...for a woman" His last words convaying some deeper meaning. The ice crashed to the floor.

Aiko jumped back in some surprise as he the wall of ice formed around her opponent. "Impressive," she murmured, a hint of respect showing in her eyes. She could feel herself starting to like the man she fought against, but quickly pushed the feelings from her mind. Emotions could not win battles-only skill. With that she created a ring of fire on the ice and began to melt it.

Zutao silently cursed. Not only had he come up against another Shinobi that used jutsu, but they used Firejutsu; and fire always beat ice. But Water could beat Fire. Zutao let the ice melt, but kept the wall standing, turning it round so that it engulfed her. Things could pass through it, but her air was now cut off and the water would quench her fire.
