Drogo looked down at the tracks to figure out what exactly Tur was speaking of. He had never seen an orc before, and, with this explanation, he wasn't really sure if he wanted to.
"No. I didn't know I was supposed to bring one. Should I have one?" Drogo question, with the question of what an orc really was still dormant in his eyes.

Goldleaf drew her sword. She could hear the rapid footsteps of the orcs now on the earth. "My guess is they're going towards Osgiliath, and we are in their way. We must stop them, if we can." She looked around for the others.

Goldleaf could hear voices just round the corner. She pushed through the trees and came across Turwaithiel and Drogo. "I thought I recognised your voices," she said, relieved. She lifted her blade slightly; it had started to take on a hue of the brightest blue, the Elven magic in it warning them that the orcs were near.

Drogo was running as fast as he could up the hill contemplating to himself how two people could fight a whole company of orcs, how bad they sounded.
Panting, Drogo arrived at the top of the hill about half a minute behind Turwaithiel, and he smiled, delighted, that he did not run into a company of orcs. "Well, at least there are three people now to fight the orcs," Drogo panted out, revealing what he was thinking about the whole time.

"Four." Falcon contradicted Drogo, winking as he held his throwing-axe in one hand and his longsword in the other.
Turwaithiel nodded at Goldleaf and Falcon and turned to Drogo, asking, "Will that blade work for you?"

"Make it five," Rain said, as she ran up, bow in hand. Soon the orcs came bursting through the brush. The mercinary stepped back, and shot at one of them, hitting it in the head. In under ten seconds Rain had another arrow ready...

"I guess so," Drogo told Turwaithiel, not too sure how any weapon would work or not work.

"Just stay by me and keep away from their swords." Turwaithiel advised when the sounds of orc cries grew louder.

As the orcs rushed forward Goldleaf gripped her sword tightly, raised it into the air and jammed it into the stomach of an orc. As another progressed towards her she fiercely attacked it, then sliced off it's head.

Turwaithiel's eyes scanned the forest quickly as she listened to the orcs coming closer. By the sounds, there where many. She checked where Drogo was as she pulled out another dagger and threw it, hitting an orc in the leg and crimpling it. She would go finish him off later as she came up to meet another.

"There must be a hundred at least," Goldleaf shouted over to the others as she ran towards them. "They are come to join the others that attack Osgiliath as we speak, I think. There are too many." She glanced over her shoulder; the orcs were running down the hill. Her sword came crashing into the nearest orc.

Drogo was shaking in fear, and shrieked when a dead orc landed in front of him. However, with his lack of experience, courage, height, and everything that deems a good warrior, Drogo was not doing that badly. That is, he wasn't dead yet.
"Are there people in Osgoliath to fight them?" Drogo asked, "because I don't think only five.. four and a half.. can kill them all." Drogo then shrieked from joy upon stabbing his first orc in the leg.

Turwaithiel grinned at Drogo and quickly pushed Drogo to the ground as a large orc came up behind him to kill him. Turwaithiel jumped over Drogo and parried the orcs blow but didn't notice the orcs dagger in it's other hand. Before she knew it, it had stabbed her deep in her gut. She cursed and buckled over a little, before she put out another effort and cut of the orcs head completely. She watched with grim satifaction as the orc died. She looked down and pulled out the small dagger, coughing slightly as she did so. She glanced at Drogo to make sure she didn't throw him to the ground to hard and then, moving slower than normal, she fought another orc.

When Tielen heard the noise of the fight, she ran with all her speed toward it. Arriving at the scene, she drew her sword and looked to see what she could do. She charged into the fray and whooped as she engaged an orc.

Two hours into the fight and it was still dark. Amid the clashing of swords and shields Goldleaf was aware of something else. Quiet, almost inaudible footsteps coming up the hill. Goldleaf knew this noise and she recognised it's meaning. The rangers were coming.
Not so far away, the rangers of Ithillien tramped up the hill leading towards the battle. They were led by a young man named Belecthor from Captain Faramir's company, who had his bow strung and had his green hood over his head.
"Quiet now," he muttered to the men who walked behind him. "Captain Faramir wants this job done, and he wants it done properly. About six people fighting against a hundred Morgul orcs? A complete disaster."
