When I find a quote from either book or movie that fits into life, I say it as maybe a reply for a question. Like, at one point at the beginning of my first Middle-school year, I had short hair and looked like a boy and so someone thought I was and I told them "I am no man!" like Eowyn did in the movie. Or if I get over excited about something I'll call out "Firecracker firecracker firecracker" like Bilbo does in the first chapter of the "Hobbit".

And whenever I see a potatoe I always quote Sam from LotR.

And before, I used to have friends just as LotR crazy as me(but when SW3 came out they changed into SW fans instead of LotR fans), we'd act out our favorite scenes to pass time. Our favorites was in the Return of the King "You bow to no one" Since there were five of us. Four hobbits, one Aragorn, lol!

Funny you say that...I have a good friend who also loves LOTR, who, whenever he feels like it, will randomly call out "PO-TA-TOES!" and I will say "Boil 'em mash 'em stick 'em in a stew!" And he'll quote other LOTR stuff and other movies with me too - it's such a blast, especially when others look at us funny. :P

I like to quote the Galadriel bit...'Instead of a Dark Lord you would have a Queen! Not dark, but beautiful as the Dawn! Treacherous as the Sea! Stronger than the Foundations of the Earth! All shall love me and Despair!' *ahem* yeah.

^I really need to memorize that part.

I do indeed love to quote stuff from LotR. I even have an anecdote related to my quoting. My brother and me were acting out the scene where Eowyn meets the Witchking.

My brother: You fool! No man can defeat me.
Me: I am no man... I am a coward!

I don't normally do the big speeches, I tend more to take short lines and twist them to make them applicable to real life, and funny. Stuff like "What about second breakfast?" (I <3 Pippin!) Or Star Wars lines, like "I find your lack of faith disturbing." You can substitute whatever you want for "faith" - I find your lack of brains disturbing, I find your lack of pants disturbing...whatever XD
And then there's always my personal favorite, form The Princess Bride:
"Inconceivable!"

^I tend to do the same thing. Every time someone says something that vaguely reminds me of a movie quote, I blurt out the next line. Well, not so much anymore, because people started to think I was a psycho killer or something, but I think it in my head a lot. I love quoting Boromir and Faramir especially, but there's a lot of times where I quote Monty Python.
The quote I pull out the most now is when we're deciding something serious, I like to stand up dramatically and say "If this indeed is the will of the Council, then Gondor will see it done." Cue dramatic exit. :D

I love quoting and family/friends around me enjoy quoting, too.
We´ll quote anything, from any movie..if it relates to a given situation..

personally, I love to quote LotR and Yoda (sweet, he is)
..a little Leeloo, from The Fifth Element, and so on

I quote [LotR] all the time. Both when watching the films and in 'real life'. I tend to quote Gandalf, Aragorn and Galadriel the most I think, especially when it comes to the films.

I quote random characters from LOTR and POTC, all the time for no good particular reasons.
