Deawen looked up at Sen, and groaned slightly remembering the protocal ahead..." I hate being an Ambassador..." she growled changing the subject. THree things irratated Deawen beyond help...her own emotions, Nobles and Kings, and the king in the south who always seemed to be trying to gain the upper hand over her...
King Elessar was a good man to almost all...except Deawen, who refused to Serve any king under their Banner...
" the out post isn't far we just need to get there soon"

*Sen smiled, then chuckled quietly.*
Indeed, you never were the political type, yet you and I somehow managed to get entangled in politics all the time. We should reach the outpost by noon, if I am correct. Then, after a mercifully short bout of politics...
*Sen laughed, and nudged Deawen slightly.*
We shall be on to our true business. Shall we return to the others, and prepare to leave?

Deawen nodded smiling " politics have never settled well" she said grimly" yes we should otherwise Morwen will start to get worried"
she looked at him with her deep blue eyes, he gave her such confidence she no longer felt afraid.

As Morwen sat and ate her rabbit, she fought bach the feeling of pure hatred that she had felt the night before. It lasted longer this time. She swallowed the last of her food, stood, and announced, "I'm going for a walk. Send Eston's hawk when it is time to go." She fastened her cloak and sword and went striding off into the woods as best she could through the snow. The molten hatred was cooling into stuborn resent. She tried to fight the anger with reason, but it was growing stronger. She went past a tree and marked it with her blade. "Might as well not get lost," she said to herself aloud. She continued, trying not to think.

Imlosiel tighten her cloak about her ears and neck, silently observing all that was occurring in their small encampment. She had noticed Morwen's departure and wondered at it's cause.

Deawen walked back to camp with a slight limp, from yesterdays skirmish. She began packing up supplies saddled all the horses then loaded supplies on the horses. she opened a leather bag and pulled a oilskin wrap. she set the bundle on the ground unwrapped the contents. She pulled out six neatly folded cloaks all black with a white tree ensignia on the upper left side of the chest. She looked up from her task to the other two " These are for you, you will be needing them. by wearing these signifies that no one may harm you while we are at the outpost. Under the penalty of death" she explained handing them each a cloak.
" I am an Ambassador, and those who accompany me have the protection of the shield of gondor, as well as the spear of the rohirrim" Deawen said in a momotone well rehearsed line that she was obviously bored with. Eston and Deawen switched their heavy cloaks for the rich sable velvet but both were different from the others. Twined around the white tree was a silver Dragon, Deawen's own ensignia. " where is Morwen?!" Deawen asked puzzled.

Anira accepted the cloak with a nod and changed her cloak for the black one she had been given. Exhaling quietly, she could see her breath in the cold wintry air as she readied her steed for their departure. At Deawen's inquiry she turned to face their leader once again. "I believe she said she went for a walk and to send Eston's hawk ere we depart," she answered with a slight frown on her face. "Perhaps I imagined it, but to think on it now, she seemed a bit troubled..." Anira added softly, not knowing what more to say.

Deawen pondered the statement, " thank you Anira, " she said Morwen was fond of walks as was Deawen but Deawen was jaded against walks alone. " Anira do you mind tracking her down for me? " she asked after spending time looking for Estons hawk. Eston simply shrugged when inquired about the bird " I sent it off " he answered.

"No, I don't mind, " Anira replied. With that she headed off into the direction she last saw Morwen. She could feel the coldness of the wind and wrapped her cloak tightly around her. As she walked the path, she kept a clear eye for danger, knowing that anything could happen in the shadows of the woods-even to the most experience of warriors if they were caught off-guard. As she continued down the trail, she came across a marked tree. After studying it for a few moments, a smile traced her lips as she guessed that its maker was none other than the woman she was now looking for. "I hope I am on the right path," she murmured to herself as she continued down the road to look for the next marked tree.

Deawen stroked the muzzle of her stallion, who stood quietly enjoying the soft touch. Deawen emersed herself into past diplomatic missions reviewing the customs of the culture they were bound to meet up at the outpost. Her favorite missions were to the east to the sea of Rhun, though it was a rough start almost being killed by a local tribe, she enjoyed the culture it was very much like her own lifestyle always on the move never in one place for very long. SHe also enjoyed the heat of the desert though her pale skin did not agree she found it was better to be able to move rapidly withheat than the sluggish tendecy in winter. She figured this culture would have the same reaction to her being a woman and an ambassador. Often When Sen and her would arrive to thier destinations officals would automaticaly assume Sen and Eston was the ambassadors. Deawen usually remained calm and polite only once did she lose her temper. " Imosiel how often have you travled?" Deawen asked.

Imlosiel looked towards Deawen and simply said "It seems that I have been traveling my entire life." She looked back down to the snow on the ground and continued "For most of the time after my childhood was over I have been wandering from the North of Rhovanion to down south near the areas of Rohan and Gondor. I often act as a guide for those traveling through those regions, and when I have not been hired I simply wander. Perhaps to visit my homeland ever so often." Imlosiel now returned her eyes back up to Deawen and inquired, "Why do you ask?"

( Morwen is out of town and has told me to godmod her character until tuesday. This should be easy considering she and I are so alike)
Deawen shrugged " I was curious, I have noted that you seem to be able to keep up without complaining so i figured you travled before hand. "
she said fidgiting under her cloak.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Morwen kept walking trying to shake the sudden anger she felt. She heard Anira trapse through the woods, Morwen stopped listening and waited for Anira to catch up.
Anira smiled as she saw the familiar figure of Morwen waiting in the distance. Hurrying her pace she finally caught up to her. "I'm glad I found you," she said with a warm smile. "I was asked to tell you that we would depart soon."
*Sen walked back a short while after Deawen. The words of the lupine warrior still troubled him; the lost one. What does he know? Yet he put it behind him, as he prepared himself for the diplomacy ahead. He, too, was not one for words; Raelun was better at it than him. Yet he would do what he could, as he saw that the others had donned cloaks bearing diplomatic insignia. He donned his own, yet instead of being black with the symbol of Gondor, it was dark red, with a stylized flame reaching over one shoulder, and a phoenix with the backing of a triquatra. It was then that he noticed that one of their party was missing.*
Where has Morwen gone?
Morwen sighed, her walk was too short for her to clear her head.
she followed Anira back to camp silently.
Deawen looked up at Sen and shrugged " out for a walk I suppose" she answered. Upon seeing Morwen Deawen relaxed slightly, "here put this on" Deawen said handing Morwen the cloak. Morwen looked at it with distaste " I'm not wearing that" she stated bluntly Deawen laughed in disbelife " come on Morwen it's just for two days tops" she said shoving the cloak closer to Morwen. " I will not wear that, I will not wear the ensigna of any King other than my own." she said curtly. " Morwen you have to wear this your king or not!" Deawen laughed Morwen tensed but did not take the cloak " My King or not!? " she growled taking a huge step towards Deawen " Atleast I have a King!" Deawen stood stunned " what does that have to do with wearing a cloak?" she whispered, but Morwen continued " If you
had a King You would understand! But instead you refuse to submit to any king or lord" at this Deawen tensed " I refuse to be tethered like a bird, "she shouted back Deawen was close to losing her temper something egged her on telling her that Morwen was wrong to say that...Deawen swallowed hard " But you don't mind being tethered, you were the one who was a good handmaiden, and a soldier..." Deawen stopped realsing what she was doing. She threw the cloak down on the snow turned briskly then mounted her horse with no words. Morwen stood alittle stunned as if she wasn't aware of where she was.
Morwen Mounted her horse sulkingly. as Deawen brooded over the event. Morwen had never been this edgy before especaily over a cloak. Deawen knew something was wrong but she figured it was the bitter cold that was making Morwen moody. Whatever it was Deawen's only thought was to get to the outpost and soon. Deawen led the way up the slope, soon they came upon a well worn road the snow here was gone as if cleared, it made an easier treck up the ever steeper climb. The air seemed tense as the storm ahead brewed.
