I LOVE CELTIC MUSIC!! (just so you get the picture... )
I have Loreena McKennitt, Enya, Maire Brennan, Clannad and several other random artists. I've borrrowed all the library's enya CDs and ah, copied them... the only one I own is "Paint the sky with stars". I've loved Enya since I was nine, and begged for a CD for years. My mum eventually brought me maire brennan instead.
And my uncle copied his Loreena McKennitt cds for me... My brother has a CD for scottish gaelic music which is weird!
Sidawethiel, I love "The Old Ways" too! I downloaded the preview from her website and went insane because I couldn't find the CD anywhere! I ended up having it shipped out from Canada, the version that came with her DVD for free. Anybody seen it - "No Jouney's End"? I think the music video for the Mummer's Dance is strange...
My other favourite Loreena McKennitt songs are The Bonny Swans and The Highway Man.
I really like the CD "Celtic Woman". It's got 7 different Celtic female artists on it (it's actually how I found out about Loreena McKennitt) and I'd really recommend it. I want to get the second one now!
Kagome-Chan - the memory of trees?

^lol Herenya Most of the Celtic music I have I copied also
The Mummer's Dance it by Loreena McKennitt? I didn't know that.. which I guess isn't really all that surpriseng, since most of the music I have is saved to RealPlayer, which, unless all the songs on a CD are by the same person, has no clue who sings/plays what
My favorite artists are probably Enya, The Chieftains, and Julia Lane & Fred Gosbee. Susan McKeown isn't bad, either

i'm wondering if anyone here knows of a band called iona. they are amazing...if you know this band, let me know because they're my favourite! they aren't really like a traditional celtic band, they add a lot of rock sounds, but still, they're very celtic overall...

Sid, I think it's great that there are so many Loreena McKennitt fans, too. All the people I know who like her, only know about her because I introduced them to her music. (Except for my aunt and uncle, but then I heard about her from them...)

I really celtic music too. I LOVE the song Carrickfergus, especially Charlotte Church's version of it. It's so pretty. Especially that low whistle at the beginning. Aaaah...

CEEEEEEELTIIIIIIIIIIIIIIC...whee. I love it. ^_^
I have copies of two Enya CDs (The Celts and Paint the Sky with Stars), and a copy of a Loreena McKennitt one (Book of Secrets. My cousin always seems to have the CDs I plan to buy, so I just burn them off of her.) I want to buy Enya's Shepherd Moons...among other stuff. I also have one CD, it's not by any band, it's just kind of typical Celtic music...but I love it. I love the whole flavour of Celtic music, how everything seems to have a story behind it. Even just the melody.

I love China Roses!
I've just started listening to Celtic music. I listen to Enya <3 and the Celtic Women (Chloe, Lisa Kelly, Orla, and Maev), and Mary Fahl if you can count her. Also love Riverdance and Lord of the Dance! Siamsa (how is that pronounced btw?) is my class' favorite! A little out of place, but I found this and would like to share it:

I love Celtic Music!! My favorite bands are the Cheftains and Iona. And got the play at the Potomac Celtic festival. And Alex De Grassi has a lot Celtic flare to his music, too.
