awww, thank you, Artemis!  I'm glad you like it...  I'm rather fond of it too.... 
anyway, I want to officially add Emma (finally) now that I've had time to work on her bio some more... here it tis!

History: Emma was born June 27th. Her mother originally came from Ireland but moved away from her family when she was still a young woman because her aunt and uncle wished to take her to England in order to stay with them for a time. After spending some time with them in their townhouse they took her to the country to spend some time in their cottage. There her mother met a young man, Trevor Clarence, and they formed a long distance acquaintance since he went on many voyages to sea with his father. Several years after they first met, they got married. However, his long voyages continued in order to make money, so they moved to a port town and started their lives there. After two years, Emma was born. On the day of her birth only her mother and aunt were there since her father was out to sea. The years rolled by while her father continued at his work and her mother raised her in their small townhouse. She lived quite comfortably until she was almost 17. In that year, her father took a voyage which he promised would only take 7 or 8 months. Those months rolled by. Soon 9 months and even a year passed without any news from him. Her mother began worrying and keeping to her room saying she felt to ill to come out. Things worsened and soon another half a year had passed and he still hadn't returned or sent a letter. Eventually, Emma grew so nervous about her father's postponed return and about her mother's decreasing health that she decided to find her father and bring him home no matter what state he was in. Without consulting her mother, Emma left one night and got on a ship to begin her long quest to find her father. Her intentions had been to write her mother later and tell her what had happened and to continue the correspondence. But many things developed over a short time and Emma was soon swept away with it, leaving her poor mother in worse agony than she meant to. But she did finally manage one letter that made it to her mother. In that letter she told of what had taken place and what she was doing and how she was taking care of herself. She never got a reply from her mother. The years went on, she met many new people and saw many new places. She finally ended up in the Caribbean after asking person after person about her father. But almost 3 years had passed and there was still hardly a thing learned about him, if he was dead or anything. All that time spent was not for naught, however, because in that time Emma became more independent and learned more than she had ever dreamed of and she grew stronger and smarter. Many of the friends she made were pirates and it didn't take long before she had pretty much become one of them. Their lifestyle suited her well. Eventually after searching high and low for her father she did get news of him. He had died at sea during a hurricane. With nothing else left in her life, Emma continued pirating with her friends. She had lost her father and most definitely her mother had passed away at some point from all her pain.

Name: Elizabeth Turner
Age: 53
About: Unlike most young women in her time, Elizabeth is independent and spirited. She has always been fascinated by pirates, but she is often revolted by their aggressive and wild nature, especially when she initially met Captain Jack Sparrow and he ensured his escape from Port Royal at her expense. Even after becoming a pirate, she retains her sense of propriety, as well as her loyalty and compassion for loved ones. Elizabeth adapted well to pirate life. She had previously learned how to handle a sword from her, then fiancee, Will Turner. She is able to defend herself against multiple opponents and can fight using two swords. Elizabeth has natural leadership abilities, quickly learned seamanship, and displays a talent for battle strategy, devising many defensive and offensive maneuvers against her opponents. Hmmm... I'm a little bored at the moment too so... I'll post Jack's bio.
Name: Jack Sparrow
Age: Around 60, but since he drank from the fountain of youth, no one really knows.
About: Jack was born and raised on the sea. He loves it (and his ship) as he loves nothing else, or so he thinks. Thought slightly crazed by some and just plain looney by others, his personality mostly comes from too much rum. On the inside, he is actually trying to get away from a depressing and saddening past. Only on a rare occasion (such as prolonged absence from alcoholic beverages or times of extreme emotional stress) does his true personality shine through.
