Not much really... but not because I'm all sainty, I spend the time on the computer instead!
I watch the news and a couple of TV shows and perhaps a movie, so in general about an hour a day, maybe two on the weekends, if I'm watching a movie.

Why doesn't movies count if they're on TV? Isn't it the same as saying that TV shows don't count because you can watch them on DVD, or that the news don't count because you can read it online and in the papers, or that silly game shows don't count because they're not even for real people!

I watch exactly two hours of tv a week. (Not counting movies... I watch a lot more movies) But I'm trying to go without movies and tv for a while... It's hard!

It depends on if there's anything worth watching. At most I'll watch maybe three shows in a week, but recently it's just one, really. Although that one stops tonight, actually, and won't be coming back til April, so I don't know what I'll do on Thursday nights now.

I watch maybe a half-hour or hour of tv a week, not counting movies. I work 4 evenings a week, and that's when most show I might be vaguely interested in watching are on. I'm like Ea- I like using my computer more.

Lemme think...

About 9 hours per week..and most of that is wrestling. Add another hour onto that starting from tonight when I watch Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles

I take it watching shows online doesn't count?

Yep... the networks are run by a bunch of monkeys. At least the Writers strike is over now, though. So we should have most/all of our shows back by April, or so.

It depends on what's on TV, how tired I am, if someone's occupying the computer, or if I have homework, etc.

Some nights there are multiple shows (generally hour long shows) that I watch. For instance, Tuesday night (when it's not 2 hour American Idol time, and there's no writer's strike), Bones and House are on, which I love. On Wednesday night, I watch CSI:NY and (lately) Project Runway. There's only a one or two episodes until the finale.

So some days/evenings I spend a few hours watching TV, and sometimes only 30 minutes or so- like the evening news, etc.

would that be lark rise to candleford? me and mum are ardent fans, although i have to admit i did prefer cranford...even if they did kill off my favourite character half way through.

anyway, back on topic. i watch an embarrassing amount of tv a week. i probably shouldn't admit to it really, but here goes... there's my regular soap, the soaps i watch if i happen to be in and near a telly, the decent serial dramas and sit coms that show every now and then, the quizzes and satirical news programmes that are on in fits and bursts, a certain few talent shows, crime dramas, and the news. and then there are all the films i watch... geez, that really is bad. in my defence though, i'm never watching all of those programmes at once - at the moment, it's mainly eastenders, torchwood, lark rise to candleford, the last enemy, whose line is it anyway?, and the late edition). i don't just watch telly anyway - i work, i read a lot, i exercise, i'm writing a play and a film, i spend a lot of time talking with my family, i travel up to leeds to visit friends up there, and i go to the theatre pretty regularly.

Most of the time the TV's just background noise for me. Sometimes I'll watch if there's something interesting on, and I'll watch for hours on an election night. Most of my favorite shows I watch online, though. It's so much nicer to be able to watch them without 15 minutes of commericals.

How long I spend watching TV and how long the TV's on are two different things.

I tend to turn on the TV in the background when I'm doing homework every day so from about 5-ish to about 9-sh is when I get done with most of my homework.

During the summertime, I spend a good 6 hours of my day watching some sort of TV, either on the actual TV or online episode.

During the school year I'll accumulate 6 hours of TV in one week (if I'm lucky!). I miss my TV.

MMMM...interesting.

I'm not really sure. It really depends on what's going on a particular day, or in a particular week.

Lately, since school started, the only times I really watched TV was when there was a specific show I wanted to watch. 5-6 hours maybe during the week.
(I'm not counting watching the news, or the craziness that is the United States election -- I am a Political Sciene major )

Background noise or if I'm sick or can't sleep...that's another thing. So is winter break. And that's mainly because I have nothing else to do, and it's beyond freezing outside. I don't really watch TV during the summer because I'm not really near a TV, or I'm just too often doing stuff.

I do watch some stuff online as well. That's usually on the weekends though, or during school breaks.
