<center>‘We departed from Mirkwood nearly a fortnight ago under order of the King, to see what has become of his son. Our group has been to Rivendell only to learn of the Fellowship of the Ring, which departed only recently. We have decided to follow them. On the way we have gone to many places, killed many enemies and met new people who would change our lives forever…’</center>


*Background Info :: The roleplay starts off in Mirkwood, with our characters preparing to go on a journey to head out to Rivendell to see what has become of King Thranduil’s son, Legolas. Upon reaching Rivendell, the companions learn of the Fellowship of the Ring, which has only recently departed. The companions decide to take leave and follow them, but winter is quickly approaching, and what will it bring with it?

++ This is like our own little version of the Fellowship, and also, the timing is not heavily followed in the books/movies, so I’ve made it that the Fellowship leaves before winter comes.

Apparel: When she is journeying - a green silk buttoned tunic, brown leggings and brown boots. Her hair is almost always braided unless she is at home.
Personality: After her parents died, Aramel closed herself up and does not fully trust anyone unless she has known them for a long time. She is almost always on her guard and is very quiet. Also an experienced hunter and she could survive in the wild.
Weapons: Long sword with a black hilt and elvish inscriptions.
Background/History: Aramel was born in Rivendell. When her parents Faeron and Aranel Ithilwen were slain by a group of orcs, Aramel was taken in and raised by her uncle, Elrond Halfelven. She learned early on how to use a sword and is not easily trusting after loosing her family. Aramel travels a lot with Elrond’s twin sons Elladan and Elrohir.

Personality: After the death of his parents, Talathion has taken on the role of the responsible adult when it comes to journeys with his sister, Aramel. He has learned to take responsibility for his actions and knows that everything happens for a reason. Talathion is very protective of his friends and sister.
Weapons: A handcrafted longbow with golden elvish inscriptions carved into the wood
Background/History: Talathion was born in Rivendell. When his parents Faeron and Aranel Ithilwen were slain by a group of orcs, Talathion was taken in and raised by his uncle, Elrond Halfelven along with his sister Aramel. He quickly mastered archery and swordsmanship.

Weapons: A bow made of black willow, arrows with mithril tips, and a sword of black steel
History: Born and raised in Mirkwood, a ward of Thranduil, Merilin was best friends with Legolas's love's sister, Freya. When Freya and her two sisters were murdered, Marilin blamed Legolas for their deaths and never forgave him. Over time, Marilin joined an elite group of Mirkwood soldiers, specially trained trackers. She is an expert hunter, and even better at using her bow.

Apperance: Pale skin, copper hair and bright eyes. Not very tall even by human standards.
Weapons: mostly daggers and one sword. can use a bow but is not very good at it. very good with knives and daggers.
Clothing: wears a black riding dress trimmed in red. a black cloak and dark red tunic. No armor.
Personality: very spunky and playful. Understands her place but doesn't mind very well.
History: No one really knows, she is an orphan or seems to be. All is known about her is she comes from Rohan ( from her ability to talk in rohirric) she showed up in Mirkwood with her two horses about two years ago.
Animals: Two mares. Mandarina: a smooth gaited parched yellow dun mare with a dorsal stripe down her back and tiger like stripes on her legs. Folya known as Flow) a palomino mare with long legs.
