Ah, true....I'm reading The Hobbit now (for only the 2nd time) and I'd forgotten that!
The other great thing about this scene is seeing Howard Shore in his cameo! Hysterical!

This is a funny scene, but but in all honesty the reason that I like it best is that it adds even more Eomer-loveliness to the film. ^^;;

It's true. Howard Shore has a cameo in that scene as one of the men in the background. I don't know which one he is though...

Oh I love it, and how Legolas is only starting to be affected by it like 20 some drinks into the game. The look on Eomer's face when Legolas says that makes me laugh. Kind of "lolz are you kidding me?" face.
