I have been rediscovering my passion for Jesus Christ Superstar on the occasion of Easter. I saw the 1973 movie version many years ago and loved the dancing and how they made the musical fit the screen version. Later I saw an amateur musical production with some different music, which turned out to be the 2000 Broadway soundtrack and I got really hooked. I love Judas' and Jesus' voices, even though they sing quite pronounced.. like the musical-way of singing.
And now I spent the weekend watching most of the Broadway production on YouTube for the first time. Ohh I love the lyrics, how they adapted the story into a musical and the anachronistic/hippie/punk/or whatever setting.
