Rain nodded.
"It's true, the battle lasted that long. He was angry and though, and also well armed, and wearing though armor. Here's the proof," she said, lifting her shirt just slightly so they could see the thing white scar on her tanned stomach...

"It looks like a nasty wound," Goldleaf said. "I'd sure hate to be on the recieving end of a goblin's dagger." Once again her mind turned towards how Boromir might have died, and her blue eyes became distracted and distant.

Rain shook her head.
"It's not as bad as it looks. Luckily the blade wasn't poisoned. And it wasn't very deep either," she said, pulling her shirt back down over her stomach. "If I had had professional healing, there might not have been a scar. But I just wrapped it unil I got to Rohan, where a woman roughly stitched it. One of these days it's going to kill me, not knowing how to stitch a wound, being a mercinary," there was a grim smile on her face...

"Those two Elven women who came to help us seemed pretty good at stitching up wounds," Goldleaf said. "One of them did a brilliant job on my arm."

She laughs at Rain's tale and her remark about the lack of knowledge towards healing, "A mighty battle you fought miss. I think that you were lucky enough though. There are most who do not have the luck to not see the end of the blade after these battles. I agree with you however. But there is nothing safer than knowing how to tend to yourself. I went and studied herb lore with the Haladrim down south to be sure that I knew what I would be doing with every possible ingredient. Magic is very limited - your best bet is to know everything about medicine you possibly can."

She shrugged at Saira's comment and said jokingly, "I just pray I don't die of blood loss while I search for a healer. It's worked well enough for me," she grinned. "Master Hobbit, have you no tales of your homeland you would care to share with us?"

"Well dear, I agree. I become horrible obsessed with this saving business after my brother died. But thats another story."
Nodding toward the hobbit, "Yes Master Hobbit. Im sure that to have ended up here and with such a ferocious wound, you must have an interesting story."

Drogo sat in silence with slight embarrasment from looking at his foot. Part of him, a large part of him, wanting to lie by making up some impressive story. However, after thinking about it, he took the honest route from the fear of them expecting more, "Oh, my foot. I just stepped on a goblin's sword after the battle."

Lifting an eyebrow she wraps her arms around her long legs, "I meant about how you ended up here with this bunch of ruffians." A small smile touches her lips, a warm twinkle in her eyes.
