Ohmygosh... This was on our local news.  (Finally something about Ian Mckellen amid the Miley Cyrus stuff... *cough* Anyways...) I nearly screamed!  TT ish super excited now! 
Apparently Elijah said he'd like to come back... I don't see why anyone wouldn't. Tolkien's stuff is probably the biggest things they'll ever be involved in.

What would Eliajh ect do in the movie though?
Don't get me wrong, as much as I love those guys and the roles they played. What would they do?

interesting idea.... *nods* That would be an interesting way of doing it.
I have read the hobbit book for children (when I was like 7... didn't even know what it was at that time)
But it's been so long i don't even know if frodo was in the original... he wasn't was he?

^nope.he probably wasnt even born then.
i'm not sure about having most of the original cast back when they werent in the story(though of course I'd like to see them again) ,heck i'm still trying to get used to the whole second movie thing.i mean a movie that takes place in the 60 years between the Hobbit and LotR would just be full of filler stuff wouldn't it?

I'm sure there would be lots of things to tell. It probably just will be very hard to somehow connect many of the things that happened. You could tell so many of the things that were explained in the Council of Elrond in the books, but many of them don't have a very obvious connection.

I think that the entire 'in between' movie is a bit eh-ish. Its just dodgy somehow. I mean I will go and watch and hopefully its good enough to make me drool, but still... I dunno. Im just too much a purist 
For some odd reason the cast dosent bother me THAT much. I mean Ian McKellen NEEDS to be in it, but beyond that I think I can live. I want to go to NZ so so bad though... Be an extra or something  Or just see the sets. _________________ 
And all will turn to silver glass...
