I liked it. I think I like Sydney the best, because he struggles with a lot himself and his flaws, and gives up his life for one he loves.

Ooo, I've read it! :-D and it is such a good book! It's got a lot of twists and turns and I loved trying to figure out what would happen in the end... of course I'm kinda drawn to deep stories that make you work your mind anyway. :P but I thought Mr. Dickens was simply brilliant! :-D it was a very good story... sad... but I loved the ending!

Yeah, Sydney didn't deserve what he got, but Darnay didn't deserve to die, either. Have you read David Copperfield?

One of the better works from the 19th century, IMHO. Wuthering Heights never really was a decent read fr me, ant TOTC was too short with almost no character development. Jane Eyre wasn't bad, thoug.

Wuthering Heights was slightly confusing to me.... Not necessarily a book I read before I went to bed at night... :P Jane Eyre is one of my all-time favorites though!
