^How surprising. [/sarcasm] I was so tired of it for a while that I couldn't listen to them at all. Now it's a little better, at least to the point that I can hear it without cringing.
What about "Make This Go On Forever?"

I really like Snow Patrol except for their song "Chasing Cars". It was played on the radio waayy too often in my opinion, so that it really annoyed me after a while.

WOOHOO! Welcome to the club! Want to form an alliance?
All I can say is that my mother cries every time it comes on the radio she loves it so much.

Oh my God, poor you!!
My sister loves it as well, but luckily she doesn't listen to it that often anymore. She used to annoy me sooo much when she always turned up the volume when Chasing Cars was on the radio.

Its just beautiful. Yet slightly depressing considering my relationship status. Any love song makes me sad lol.

Ah, good. I remember how the first time I heard it I had to listen to it about five times before going to the next song. I love how it builds and builds throughout and then, at the climax, drops to just Gary and the piano.
"And I don't know where to look, my words just break and melt. Please just save me from this darkness... Please just save me from this darkness."
Absolutely brilliant.
Has anyone heard "Somewhere a Clock Is Ticking?" I just cannot get over how awesome it is. It starts out as this relatively quiet, haunting song and then explodes into pure awesomeness.
But forgive me, I'm rambling.

*bump*
I love "Make This Go On Forever." It's definately in the top five of their songs for me. I also love how it builds up and then goes quiet.
And I also really like "Somewhere a Clock is Ticking." I actually rediscovered it somewhat recently and completely fell in love with it. It kind of does something similar with the build up.

Dude, "Somewhere A Clock Is Ticking" is definitely my favorite Snow Patrol song. Followed by "Shut Your Eyes."
(oh, I really despise Chasing Cars)

Oh, "Shut Your Eyes" is a good song too. "Run" will also always be one of my favorites.

So, for anyone who doesn't yet know, "A Hundred Million Suns" is out October 27. *Jumps for joy*
1. If There's A Rocket, Tie Me To It
2. Crack The Shutters Open
3. Take Back the City
4. Lifeboats
5. The Golden Floor
6. Please Just Take These Photos From My Hands
7. Set Down Your Glass
8. The Planets Bend Between Us
9. Engines
10. Disaster Button
11. The Lightning Strike
i. What if This Storm Ends?
ii. Sunlight Through The Flags
iii. Daybreak
And you can find "Take Back the City" on youtube, their myspace, etc.
I'm personally really excited. The fact that the first single is so far from Chasing Cars and more like their first three albums gives me hope that we'll see less of the Grey's Anatomy-friendly music on this one. Also, I find the space references in the song titles interesting, and wonder if they're an indication of subject matter different from previous albums.
