Hmm... I'm pretty good. My allergies have been acting up for the past few days because of the horrid hot/humid weather here. It messes up my sinuses. I'm going to find out tonight what role I got in 'The Twelve Dancing Princesses' (it's a childrens musical at my local theatre). I am pretty sure I am getting the role of one of the princes (Yes, prince. Because of a shortage of male participants, the director often gives girls the role of a guy. Kind of annoying, sometimes. I have to dance with one of my friends!) Oh, yes, and one more thing - I'm doing my first beta job! Someone on FF.net came forward and asked me to beta one of her LotR fanfictions. Wish me luck!

I wish you luck with all the stuff you have going on, Star Gazer! You're certainly busy! Maybe you could have Caspian take over your role... He knows a thing or two about being a prince... I am very mad at my drama director.
My four best friends all got the role of a princess, my sister got the role of a prince (she actually wanted to be a boy so that she wouldn't have to wear a dress) and my other sister gets to be the queen. I, on the other hand, am an extra. No name, no real role, just one of those parts that is put in because it can be. I play no value to to plot at al. GRRR!!

Enno, FF stands for FanFiction. Basically stories about your fave fandoms. And a beta is someone who reads them before they go up, to make sure they sound and look alright _________________

Yeah... Unfortunately, that particular director always plays favorites. So, apparently, she likes all of my friends and siblings, but not me. I think that makes it even worse. But oh well.

^Aw poor SG. Er, don't bother with that director. She'll get her share someday. And don't give up yet, perhaps your luck shall change whether it be at another time or something.
But congratulations on being chosen as a Beta! And good luck! Perhaps if I ever write something new I'll ask you to Beta for me too.

Well... The drama well, drama, has carried on. The director actually called today. Apparently, she picked the part for me because, since the little 'group' will be scattered around in the play alot, she thought I would be a good 'leader' to make sure everyone was on stage at the right times. It makes me feel a little better, but I am still a bit disapointed.

@Star - I'd try not to think it over too much. If the directors just playing favourites then its her loss
Just show her how good you can be in the role that you were given, its quite good that she thought you'd be a good leader - but you are bound to be disappointed that you didnt get a better role

Star, bleh, allergies are never fun! Thankfully I don’t have very bad allergies. They only act up for, like, a few days and then they’re gone for the rest of the year. But those few days are miserable.  I feel for you, dear! And Texas does get hot…  I couldn’t handle that, me thinks. You get to be someone’s beta reader? Very cool! *thumbsup* my friend is one of those for someone… it’s pretty neat.  and lots of luck to ya!
*after reading on* You only got to be an extra?! Really? That is completely unfair!  I’m sorry to hear about this, Star… Ugh, you’re right, it’s even more annoying when you learn about people like that who play favorites.  even if she says she had a valid reason for where she put you... but as other said, there will be other great plays and she might not know what she's missing out on!

Meh, I'm actually pretty good for once. The allergies haven't acted up too badly this year... yay for that! I had a very busy weekend, and I'm glad it's over.
