Well he would have done better if he had not got wrecked in the first 20 laps. I think he will do good next week at Pocono though.

I actually had the race on, but I was on AU so I didn't pay much attention. It was better than today's race, but still seemed quite boring.

Ah, you were rooting for Joey Logano. He seems to have a ton of talent, but of course he was driving the car that has won all the races in the Busch series this year.

Well I think if you become a fan of his, you will have many great wins to cheer about in the future. I just wish he drove a Chevy, then I would cheer for him. ;)

It definitely was not Sadler's fault, just one of those racing deals. I am happy that Jeff and Jimmie did well to increase their advantage over twelfth place. That is about the only plus of the race. It seemed quite boring and it is hard to get excited about Carl Edwards and Kyle Busch battling over the win every week.

I think it was. HE shouldn't have gone down in front of Gilliland *sp?*; but I really think it's horrible when Tony has to *sarcastically though* say it was his fault, especially, "I guess whenever I'm in within a half a lap of Sadler, I'll stay away" or something like that; I didn't catch all of it. I just wanted to hug Denny and Tony both because they've had good cars and wrecks just CAN'T avoid them.

I pretty much stopped watching the race after the big wreck on lap 19 but I watched the last 20 laps. I think the reason everybody's griping over Busch is that 1. he's doing well, 2. he's in a Toyota, and 3. no one else can catch up. I don't care WHAT anybody says, the kid has talent. Room to mature, yeah. but talent, definitely. There's no way one person can go out and do well in all 3 series, different teams, vehicles, and crew chiefs and not have talent. Although I don't really care about the TRuck series; it's so boring to me.

that's my rant for the week. ARgument, closed.

where's the next race? I missed the ad. and I hate it that it's not on Fox anymore this season. :(

I would agree if it was anyone's fault, it would have been Sadler. I however think that most of the responsibility has to be placed on his spotter's shoulders. When they showed the ride along I did not hear the spotter say "car inside" until after contact had already been made. As the announcers said, it is hard for the spotters to see in that area of the track so his slowness in telling Sadler may be forgivable if not for all the torn up cars.

He definitely does have talent, but the coupling of his talent and the fact that Toyota has a 20-30 HP advantage make for some long, boring races. It is really going to be interesting to watch TV ratings if he continues to dominate all three series.

The next race is in Pocono, the most boring track in the world. This is the first time I have ever been happy that the telecast has moved from Fox. They seemed to be extremely biased this year IMO.

towards who? Jr? Every station is biased towards Jr. he's the darling of NASCAR. :yuck:

here's the actual quote from Stewart: "I take 100 percent responsibility -- it's my fault for being anywhere close to Elliott [Sadler]," a frustrated Stewart said as his crew was forced to stop work when the red flag was displayed so officials could clean up the wreckage and spilt fluids. "If I'm within half a lap of him, I expect that to happen. It's my fault -- I'm the one that hit him. When I hit him it caused all the guys behind us to wreck, so it's my fault."

they didn't put in there that the comment was ABSOLUTELY DRIPPING with sarcasm.

Yes towards Jr, but also towards Michael Waltrip, and anyone driving a Toyota for that matter. Darrell Waltrip is always going on and on about how his brother is such a good driver, when in fact he only has a few wins. He is such a biased announcer. I remember in California on Trackside he was wearing a Toyota shirt. Hmm, that seems to indicate that he favors one manufacturer over the rest. Maybe it is because he is the one who is pulling the strings at MWR a Toyota team.

Yeah I heard that quote during the race. Tony was obviously very frustrated.

yeah, I forgot about MW. Although DW's humor is one of a kind, and they are biased, I prefer Fox to ESPN or Speed. The announcers\commentators on those two annoy me to no end.

I guess I do agree with you there Petra. Fox overall does do a better job of broadcasting the races than ESPN and TNT. The conversations that the other stations have are some of the most ridiculous I have ever heard.
