Kanno noticed an unfermiliar elf riding up to the group. He approached and bowed.
"Greetings. Our group has been sent to look for prince Legolas. He recently departed on an adventure and has not returned. The king fears the worst..."
Kanno notted the second elf that approached from a ways back, he looked displeased.

The group had stopped. Kit and Kira stayed at the back of the group, watching everybody's back carefully. Rhea walked up to the head of the group to where Kanno spoke to a couple of strangers.
Rhea frowned, nearly almost instantly recognizing Aramel and her brother, but she only remembered Aramel because she had seen the elf around lately, just never spoke to her.
The young girl stepped ahead and bowed,"I would listen to Kanno, He is very wise." She straightened, only glancing at Kanno once, then noticed that his gaze was on Aramel's brother.

Glorinfiel acknowledged both comments, "I do not doubt that he is very wise, but I would like to inquire as to where you would be heading while completing such a task as to figure whether or not the information I have would be of any use to you."

"Our latest reports said that the prince was heading to Rivendel," Kanno said, glancing over at Rhea.
-Does she know me from somewhere?- he wondered silently.

Talathion held the other man's gaze for a while, until he turned to the girl that had spoken.
Aramel greeted the group with a slight nod of her head before her attention was caught by what Kanno said. "Imladris, you say? That is where Talathion and I are headed. Many months of journeying leave one longing for home." She smiled at Glorfindel; she had seen him around Rivendell before she and Talathion left for Gondor, although they had never really talked.

"Then perhaps we cna travel together," Kanno offered. "I'm sure no one will mind."
He glanced back over at Rhea then back at the elf man on the horse who had not yet spoken.
"My name is Kanno."

Rhea looked at Kanno, looking rather alarmed, as if to say 'Are you talking to me? or them?'
She looked back towards Aramel,"I know I wouldn't mind, but you'll have to ask the others first."
She smiled warmly, and then turned back to Kanno and said softly,"Hi."

Kanno inclined his head to Rhea but remained silent, a thoughtfull expression on his face covered by a mask of contentment and calm.
-There is no reason to suspect she knows me from my past...- he thought to himself.

"Perhaps," Aramel replied in response to Kanno. "That all depends on how your companions feel about having guides to lead you there." She raised an eyebrow and watched the others expectantly.
From behind on his horse, Talathion was still deciding whether or not to trust this small band of many races. He looked each one over with a frown.

"If you spoke of a mission of finding your king's son and then speak of heading to Rivendell, I should advise you not to do so in that manner," Glorfindel said, "For I have a report from Elrond that Prince Legolas has gone on a quest."

Quests always tended to interest the woman, if the did not she would not be there at that time "A quest to where and for what reason, my lord? Obviously not from King Thranduil, or we would not be gathered about like this. It is to be wondered why the rest of the Prince's party has not returned, merry making I suppose?" She gave a wicked grin, but it faded quickly into a stern line.

"I cannot bring word as to the whereabouts of the prince's former party, or even bring the exact location of the prince for that matter. I do know, and shall say, the quest was that of importance for the safety of all of Middle Earth. It was brought to everyone's attention the the Dark Lord of Old, Sauron, has, once again, rose to take over all of Middle Earth."

The woman sneered and let out a practiced curse, "It has been confirmed, has it? By Elrond and Mithrandir? Bad luck, it shall be more work for everyone and we are all spread thin as it is. Do we have any hope, my Lord Glorfindel? Or are we merely buying time?" She ran a gloved hand through her hair, "I had hoped Sauron would take longer to regain his forces."

"As long as their is still courage in a man or woman alike, there is still hope," Glorinfindel answered, "But, I will say there is more hope than that. For Sauron cannot regain form without his ring of power, and the quest of the fellowship is to destroy the ring."

“Then why is it we linger, Lord Glorfindel? What if this said Fellowship is to fail? Surely we should set out and find the Prince as ordered…” Aramel suggested tersely, only to have Talathion take her by the shoulder.
“You were always the hasty one, Aramel; we will listen to Lord Glorfindel and he will decide what is best, for he knows more about this than any of us.” Talathion gave a look that told his sister to be quiet and then turned back to Glorfindel and the rest of the party.

Rhea listened silently to the converstion from behind Kanno, silently agreeing with some of their phrases, They're right... Maybe it is too dangerous...but I would do almost anything to help Legolas
