Yeah I know what you mean. The TNT pre-race is especially ridiculous. I don't think we need an hour and a half pre-race show. I want to watch the race, not a bunch of announcers being stupid. :annoyed2:

a 30 minute pre-race show I can stand. but not one that's an hour or longer. That's overkill.

Yeah because the announcers start saying the same things after a while.

Ok,
So, I just wanted to let you all know...all two of you^_^
I am not going to be on until mid July because we're leaving for Cole Harbour, Nova Scotia to visit family.
And I probably won't be seeing ANY of the races during this time.
So, I'm leaving Captain Barbossa in charge until I get back.
We're leaving Monday...but I still won't be on A-U tomorrow or anytime after that.

and my message to you two before I leave:

GO KASEY KAHNE, JEFF GORDON, JIMMIE JOHNSON AND TONY STEWART!!!
:bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

Oh man what shall we do on this thread without you for that long LOR? I hope that you have an awesome time up there, and you never know you might be able to catch a little bit of NASCAR action. I hope that we can keep this thread awesome and fun during your absence, and I look forward to seeing you back in mid-July. :)

You forgot to mention Denny Hamlin! :p

if CB allows, I can post points and race results each week; that way you won't have to go searching for it. :D

cool. I'll probably just post the Cup results instead of Nationwide. Nobody really cares much about Nationwide. :p

Wow that is detailed Petra, nice job. :-D

That race was pretty exciting actually. I would have liked to see a slightly different finish, but overall it was good. I think Jeff got the finish he deserved. His car was not too good today. Jimmie, however, I think should have been second or third. Strategy once again moved him back a couple spots from where he should have been. :annoyed2: I guess it was at least a good points day though.

the race was boring to me. But at least Stewart finished ON the lead lap and in the top ten. That's a different thing than normal. *I copied the results from nascar.com :D*

Sorry about the double post. That race was pretty boring. It seemed like whoever got out front could just drive away. I am happy that Jeff got third. He definitely lucked into that good of a finishing position. I feel like Jimmie had about a third to fifth place car, but once again luck went the wrong way for him. I guess Jeff and Jimmie kind of swapped where they should have finished.

I found the comment that Casey Mears has been told to start looking for a different ride next year to be very interesting. Hmm, who would Hendrick want to replace Mears with? How about Tony Stewart? I truly believe a Stewart Hendrick union is in the works, which would be awesome, because I actually like Stewart. The way he handled the post race interview was classic.

if that happens, I will be shifting my loyalties fully to Hamlin and Busch. I will burn every item I own of Stewart and I will cheer AGAINST him. It's not about Chevy or Toyota. I DO NOT want him going to Hendricks because I HATE Hendricks and what he stands for. I hate Hendricks with a vengeance. I respect the Gibbs family because of their values and they're Christians.
