Alas, I have no pictures, but... I live in the woods and it is my mini-Mirkwood. Not nearly as dark. And we have some stinkin' huge spiders too! It's scary. Any WoodElf could live in my back yard and be content.
Ooooh! The picture on my banner, not the one that says "The Forgotten" the other one. It is a shot of Lothlorien, but it is rather close to what my yard looks like. Just throw in a few more trees and there you go!

Yep, it really looks like Shire and I'm pretty sure Minas is in Brazil. Anyway, in Slovenia Shire is called Å ajerska and we have a region called Å tajerska. More than a coinscience methinks

In Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, if you climb Big Round Top, it looks like the place the Fellowship rested in the movies in Hollin --except wiht more woods which makes it look like Amon Hen a little...

Did you guys know that Norway is devided into Shires? Like here in Sweden we call them provinces, the US has states, but Norway has shires. very cool _________________

I live in SoCal, and there's everything in SoCal XD
Anyways, in the morning on a foggy day, the mountains I live by look exactly like I pictured the Misty Mountains. Don't have a pic, but... I'll try and get one.
Also, my backyard looks like an elven sanctuary, I kid you not... just with palm trees XD

The woods at my place reminds me of Lothlorien. Especially this time of year when the leaves are all golden. Here are a few pictures:

I was at my grandparents' farm Wednesday and it struck me how much it looked like Rohan on the borders of Fangorn. (Hard to describe...next time I'm there, I'll try to get pics to show y'all). Also, they have a big hill that they're going to build their house on, and I already plan to call it Edoras and watch their faces.
