[[Welcome to the RP, Saira and Erana! And aye PD, that is a wonderful idea and that way you can bring in Cutler’s dad as well. ]]
Mr. Nathanial Cantrell, a lower class redcoat, was finishing doing his daily round, making sure everything was in proper order and no criminals were lurking the streets. Everything had been peaceful in the richer part of London; one kindly woman, an acquaintance of his, had even given him a fresh loaf of bred and a basket of fresh strawberries, all wrapped up in a white sheet. He held the bundle close to his chest as he walked, reminiscing about his childhood and whistling the tune of an old shanty his father used to sing. Sunset was quickly approaching and he wanted to make it home before dark so he could sit down to a meal with his two children. Mr. Cantrell knew that the fastest way home was to cut through the market in the slums, and perhaps he could even pick up some fresh meat with the change jingling in his pocket. Before long he reached the market, and found a group of teenagers standing in the center square. And the odd thing was, one of them was Cutler Beckett, Lord Beckett’s son. Mr. Cantrell hurriedly made his way over to see just what had brought the boy there.
-----------
At the Beckett residence, Elaine sat in worry. Cutler had not come back yet, and it had been a good two hours since he left. Her husband, Anthony, would be returning soon, and Elaine had yet to tell of the whole incident with their son. She paced the polished wooden floor restlessly, hoping that Cutler would appear on the road to their house, unharmed and ready to apologize. Suddenly, a knock came at the door and one of the servants headed over to answer.

{Thanks you! Here be the bio...
Ashalind (Stinky) Longshanks
Birthplace: Jamaica
Occupation: Thief apprentice and deckhand on any ship that will take her.
Appearance and personality: Ashalind is about twelve. She has long, matted brown-grey hair, a thin face and gigantic violet eyes. She always wears the same filthy ragged brown tunic and leggings. Despite the fact that she always managed to help out on ships, she never tries to pass herself off as a boy. Swearing is like her mother tongue, and she likes at play with words. She has no love for pomp, only money (and anything else she can get her hands on ). She's very proficient at her trade. She acts about a hundred, and says odd things, usually disconcertingly close to truths people like to lock away.
History: She was born into a wealthy household, but her mother was a bit of a tramp. She does however share her biological father with her older brother who is eight years older than her. Their father mysteriously disappeared after she was born, and their mother died rather brusquely. Perhaps poisoned by her husband. After her death, her brother stole away on a ship with her, and ended up in Tortuga. He quickly managed to get onto a pirate ship, leaving her to be raised by the dock-thieves. Somewhat a princess there, she quickly became very good at stealing. A strange cat appeared with her one day. No one knows why ships so readily hire her, but it is rumored the cat has something to do with it. She manages to get to London by accident - she was supposed to end up in America but slept through the stop.
I hope its okay...  }

Juliette wrote: "You're right, luv! I do know your name. This does not mean I am obligated to call you by it. One must not clutter their mind with such useless details." his lips quirked into a grin as he uncorked a bottle of rum.
She shook her head and continued forward, not bothering to look over her shoulder. This conversation was vaguely reminiscent of just about every one they had ever had.
Christine was tired of him and the rest of his scoundrel friends, now that she was back in London she would not have to put up with such nonsense. This thought brought a smile to her face and she nearly laughed with joy, "Forget it then, Jack! You shan't be needing to use it much longer. The minute I get inside my family gates I shall be free of you and the rest of your forsaken world," she yelled over her shoulder, her step now nearly a sashay.

(Might my charrie run into yours, Maethoriel?)
Julie leaned against the cold brick wall in disappointment, letting out a sigh. All she currently possessed was in the small backpack she carried, which was all the money she had left, and some of her warm clothes. The nights were so cold outside in the streets of London.
She had no home anymore, all was sold so that she at least had enough money to get along the next few months with food and whatever else she truly needed. But still, she desperately needed an occupation. Only a few moments ago, she had been inside a small pub, asking if they would need a barmaid, a waitress, any kind of help, but they didn't. It was her fourth declination up to now.
Looking down to the ground, she began walking again at last, not really caring where she was going, or if she would bump into people who would pass her by. So it came that she ran into a young woman. Sharply, Julie looked up into the woman's eyes, just to mumble " 'scuse me" in a low, almost sad tone, turning to walk on, where ever the road would lead her.

At the moment the worst thing was the fog. It seemed to cling to the poorer areas of the blasted city like it came out of the walls. Most annoying. Ashalind scoops up a small reddish cat and kicks a pebble as she heads towards somewhere with less mist. Her eyes brighten as she stops suddenly and starts climbing the side of a building. It was not long before she stood on the roof, and peered into the white mass below. She could just make out two shapes below, and voices. "Maybe we can get some loot for dinner, eh Lucky?" She grins mischievously and strokes the feline's back. The cat meows in return, and she leans over the side of the roof to hear better. (The two women being Julie and Charlotte...)

[Ahhh! There's another Julie. xD Smack me if I get confused, alright Maethles?]
He sidled closer to Christine, his lips brushing the edge of her ear. He smiled slowly.
"And rid yourself of all the adventure and wonders of the world? My dear, you never cease to disappoint me with your naivete and ignorance. Run along home to your papa so he can take care of you and your little delicate womanly ways." he chuckled softly, then pulled away and took another swig of rum.
"While I, being Captain Jack Sparrow, shall sail the broad seas and find many many treasures beyond your wildest imaginations."

(Gladly, dearest. You know I am always willing to dole out bodily harm. Lol!)
Her eyes narrowed, far too familiar with the invasion of her personal space. "I'm only too happy to dissapoint you, Jack. For it means I still have yet to let myself sink so far as you."
She turned on her heel to face him, her lips curled into an uncharacteristically mocking grin, "And how pray tell are you going to become a captain? You've yet to procure a ship that you can truly call your own. When that happens I may be impressed. You know I do not lust for treasure, just my home."
Christine was once again bumped, "What is this the third time today?" She said annoyed before nodding to the women, regaining her composure, "No, no. It's fine. Really. No harm done."

(Lol! Thanks!!!)
Julie looked up to the woman, giving her a small, friendly smile, not really noticing she was in a conversation. "Well, I must have been far away with my thoughts, not even looking where I'm going." She began to speak, and continued. "I hope I haven't injured you? There are so many people out here on the street, I should have been more careful." Julie finally ended, not even aware how much she was talking to a person she hardly knew yet.
Probably she couldn't stop talking cause lately she didn't find many people she could speak to. Somehow she must get rid of her words, and it did her well, even she might annoy Christine.
Now at last she took notice of Jack, standing quite close to Christine, and she gave him a shy nod to greet him.

[Thanks Lexy. I know you love slapping me. And I love asking. xD -huggles-]
He chuckled softly.
"My dear Christine, all of the ships have been ordered not to sail for weeks. A bloody storm of some sort." he wiggled his fingers at her boredly and shook his head.
"Seeing as I'm off to head towards your home anyway for some... negotiations, I would've gladly-" he gave a mock bow. "-escorted you, but come to think of it, you're a rather nasty lady. So I bid thee farewell." he flashed a grin again and turned around sharply, raising his eyebrow when he almost ran into Julie.
"Hello there." he paused dramatically, then stepped aside and gave an exaggerated bow. A second later, he disappeared into the crowd.

(Awkward turtle.)
She shook her head, half of her praying that Jack would not return while the other half was dissapointed by his leaving, at least he added something interesting to her life.
Christine waved her hand and shook her head, brushing away those thoughts as turned her head to look at Julie. "It's fine. Nothing broken or bruised, it has been a rough day, sorry I snapped."
Giving the woman a reassuring smile she questioned, "What are you doing about today? Everyone seems to be in such a rush down here."

Julie stepped back a little when Jack almost run into her, looking at him in startled way. That had not yet happened to her, bumping into two people in not even one minute. She stared after Jack, until she couldn't make him out in the mass of people, which only took one moment, thinking what a peculiar guy he seemed to be.
She soon turned back to Christine, to answer a question, to put on her smile again. "That's fine, don't worry. And... oh, no, I'm not in a hurry at all. I don't even have any further plans for the next few days!" She replied to her, being reminded of her somewhat meaningless lifestyle she currently proceeded, and a frown appeared on her face for merely a second, before she returned, playing the happy one. "And you, any plans of your own?"

She nodded to the girl, but her narrowed eyes followed Jack, "I am on my way home, hopefully. My family's house is just beyond that hill over there, or it should be. If they haven't sold or rented out the property. You are welcome to join me if you'd like. I am in need of some company." She turned her full attention back to Julie, her genial smile still in place.

Ashalind smiled to herself, as she rubbed her hands. "Time for a little girl to act very cute..." Leaning over the roof one last time as she grinned. But the cat twitched and she turned and lost her balance... Yowling, she lands right behind the two women. Curiously enough she managed to land on a discarded chair, and cursing worse than a sailor, Ashalind sat up and rubbed at her head.

Jack touched the fabric of his new hat in wonder, doing his own funky walk down the street. He peered over the ledge of wall and down at the roaring ocean below. He grinned, then tucked his bottles into his pants and jumped.
