"Kick your feet," Ruth Ann told Lilith with no emotion in her voice, "I've done it once before. It works."

She reached over and untied the ferry from the dock and pushed it off to start heading it over to the other side.

"Kicking my feet uh?" Lilith kept repeating, holding strongly to the wood of the ferry with both hands.
She felt a lot better when they finally reached the other shore. She waited for Ruth Ann to put the Ferry near enough to the shore and then jumped down, making the Ferry, with Ruth Ann still on it, moving in a dangerous way.

(Now that this is going on the World Wide Web, I probably should respond. :P)

Ruth Ann caught only a glimpse of Lilith jumping off of the ferry before her side of the ferry dunked for a moment down in the water before rising back up to its plateaued position. She managed to catch hold of a loose plank of wood out of reflex and, from that, did not fall entirely into the water. However, from the situation presented, she (like any other) was not able to remain fully dry. Her feet, bottom of her pants, and the bottom of her cloak were drenched, with a clear mark showing what part was in the water and what part wasn't.

It was once the raft stabilized that Ruth Ann noticed a more deeply arisen problem. From the slight dunk into the water, Ruth Ann let go of the stick she was guiding the raft with. She wasn't that far off of shore and could paddle the rest of the distance, if needed, but, after a few strokes by her hand to try (but fail) and levying the raft back on its designated path, Ruth Ann's ears caught forth a gentle trample of hooves in the distance. Not wanting to make Lilith fear even further than she was already, Ruth Ann kept it to herself and yelled for Lilith to grab a long stick from the forest.

(ahah yeah we are going to be famous :P)

Lilith nodded and walked towards the forest, giving a look for sticks on the ground. When she found one long enough she took it. While she was walking back to the shore, she heard a trampling of hooves somewhere near her. She couldn't understand if the sound was coming nearer or not, but anyway she hurried and reached the shore.
"I heard something" she whispered, while giving the stick to Ruth Ann "I'm afraid someone is coming"

(I should start working on my autograph then. I need to make it sloppier. xD)

Ruth Ann was not afraid that someone was coming at that point; she was sure of it. Speechless, Ruth Ann managed to bring the raft up to shore and arrive on the land.

She paused for a moment to soak in the environment around her, but the haste of the potential situation soon overcame her feelings of peace and tranquility as she, once again, did not answer Lilith, but solely told her, "We have to go, now."

Lilith was getting used to not having explaination, and just nodded when Ruth Ann said "We have to go, now".
"Which way do we go?" she only whispered, seeing that there was almost no path to follow in the forest.

(Totally forget it was my turn. :duh:)

"This way," Ruth Ann whisphered to Lilith, and, fearing that Lilith did not hear her, she grabbed Lilith's arms and started to run, hiding behind a rock in wait to find out how far these creatures really were.

Lilith followed Ruth Ann behind the rock, while the noises in the forest grew higher.
"What do you think it is?" she whispered to Ruth Ann.

(I do need to do that...I can't tonight, but I can tommorrow.)

"I can tell you what I hope it is not," Ruth Ann told Lilith, "but, to be honest, I don't know that much about them." Ruth Ann paused her speech for a moment and meerly listening when she began to get the feeling that the creature was not what she was initially imagining.

"I think I am going to go out and see what it is," Ruth Ann finally told Lilith, seeing that she did not need to fear any further, and finally having her curiousity take over.

"Wait!" Lilith said as she saw Ruth Ann standing up and walking away from the rock. "Where are you going? Are you crazy?" She stood up too and followed Ruth Ann in the wood.

"What is wrong with this girl?" Ruth Ann thought, holding a dagger in his right hand and slowly tracking after the creature, "she is as curious as a children and as stubborn as a Took. Probably not a good combination to having following your every move."

Ruth Ann was quickly moving from tree to tree in order to find out what the noise was, until she was satisfied that she had gone far enough. Peering out, Ruth Ann was joyous she she had predicted correctly, but, luckily, they were still a long ways off. Her sense of hearing was more keen than she remembered. "Or was it?" she inhaled rapidly for a second and took a glance down at her right side, realizing what had caused the phenomenon.

"They are far away," Ruth Ann told Lilith once she was an earshot away, "and I thinking we should head to Bree. I have an old friend to meet."

Lilith followed Ruth Ann in the forest, tripping in branches and roots, trying to keep the hobbit in her eyesight.
"They are far away," Ruth Ann said "and I thinking we should head to Bree. I have an old friend to meet."
"They? You mean Frodo and Sam?" Lilith felt her heart beating faster. Were they going to meet them finally? She didn't know the answer. Lilith wasn't even sure that Ruth Ann's aim was to meet Frodo and bring him back to the Shire. Well, if Ruth Ann didn't want to help her, she didn't care. She would have done it by herself.
"And who is your friend by the way? I thought no one should have known that we were...well, following them!" Lilith added.
