Name: Patriofelis
Age:231
Race:Paled
Physical Appearance: Patriofelis has ginger fur, with green eyes and man scars crossing his form from the war with the Humans. He wears a metal breastplate, greaves, vambraces, and an open-faced helmet.
Personality: Patriofelis is a pragmatic being, even in the most desperate situations. He is a good soldier, in the repect that he view his soldier as men, not tools.
Weapons: A scimitar, and a curved dagger.
History:Patriofelis was born into a soldiering clan, and became a warrior of the King soon after he reached adulthood. After many campaigns against just many races, he was promoted to General. By the time of the First Battle, he had gained a healthy respect for the Humans and thier fighting spirit. However, he was still a Paled. After several year, he ad nearly eradicated Resistance. However, when the King gave a new order, Patriofeli rebelled. Refusing to massacre an nnocent village, Patriofelis wa exiled, beaten, and branded a traitor. After a month in the wilds, Patriofelis declared a one-man war against the King' rule, as well as the Humans. However, after several months, and scavenging the bodies of small patrols, he adopted a 'my enemy's enemy is my friend' mentality, and set out to find the Humans and pledge his service to them.

Patriofelis lifted hi head, pupils narrowing at the light hit them. The scent of Humans wa tonger here, fresher. After trackng them for a week, he was so cloe to hi objective. Then, he glanced to the trees. A sentry with a bow or spear wa in each, and all eyes were on him, his face hiden by a cowl. He smiled slightly, exposing his. He could practically taste thire frustration, not being able to act on the stranger in worries he was a Human. In reponse, he drew his scimitar and dagger, and lay them on the ground. As the finishin touch, he snaked his tail out from under his cloak. Within moments, a group of guards wre surrounding him, taking his weapons and pointing weapon in hi face. "State you name and purpose, Paled, and you may live a little longer."

Patrioelis hrugged. "I am Patriofelis," a number of weapons were brought into more agressive stances "peace" he snapped to them. "I come unarmed, to offer my service to you, and this is the welcome I get?"

"You have done little to aid us in the past, Cat." One of the sentries spat.

"True. I served the King as any soldier in any Army would. Am I to be killed for being a loyal soldier who was merely on the wrong side? Hark, Human," he snarled at the sentry, hissing. "I come to offer my sword to your cause. I was banished because I refused to enact a massacre. You cannot kill me while I am unarmed, and while you oppose the King, I will not kill any of you" he said "What can I do? I will be surrouded, weaponless." he finihed, removing his cowl and helmet to reveal a furred head, pointed ears, and green eyes with slit pupils. "I am a general of the Paled Army no longer" he said.

"Take him" the lead sentry said. "Bring him before the Tribe Leaders. They shall decide his fate."

With that, Patriofelis' hands were bound, and was blindfolded. He was led by a rope attatched to his bindings, for a distance that he could not calculate, then he was forced to his knees. His blindfold wa removed, and he found himelf in the midst of a hman camp. However, omeone bent over a Human woman caught hi eye. "Tika" he hissed to himself. The King's Asassin was here. For all he knew, the woman could but a dagger between his ribs in his sleep. He made a mental note to watch her, as the sentry leader slipped forward to whisper something to a man whom looked to be an authorative figure. Patriofelis only nodded at him a he turned, scowling.

Fareni could hear the feet behind her. Just one human, armed and gaining on her. Muttering hurried curses, she moved around to her left. Darting inbetween the trees, she triued to think of a plan. At least she was armed this time. She started to move around in a large oval, to double back and head for the denser trees. She only knew the area to pass through; her position in the King's army hadn't allowed her that much freedom. It was possible there were other humans around here - but it couldn't get much worse than her current situation, could it? Not in her eyes.

Reed listened to the guard. He turned his head sharply to look at the Paled. He blinked in surprise; this one was more cat than the ones he'd seen before. He quickly turned back around when he heard Aryann rolling over. He watched as she slowly opened her eyes, she blinked a few times. She looked at the people around her, her eyes paused on Reed. He said," Tika found an arrow head and a short piece of the shaft in your shoulder. She removed it," he paused thoughtfully, he had to be careful. "You might have died had she not done so." Aryann nodded slowly, her dreams making sense to her now. She felt a foreign presence. She looked around confused, then spotted the Paled who had been forced to his knees by her sentries not far away. She layed back and breathed in deeply. The world is changing, she thought.
She slowly sat up, then with the help of everyone standing there, she stood. She turned to Tika. She smiled gratefully, "Thank you, Tika." she said simply.

((I know Aryann got a fever, then it broke, and she woke up again and it all happened in a short time, so please forgive me if I seem going too fast, but I'd rather not have my character unconscious the whole time.))

Aryann smiled again. The gratefulness reached deep into her eyes. A Paled, her enemy, she had met only tonight had just saved her life. She nodded to the rest of them and listened while Reed told her about the Paled. She smiled at Tika, "These times are strange indeed." she said. She then walked cautiously, for she wasn't full strength at the moment, to the Paled. She looked deep into his eyes. After a few long moments she beckoned for Tika to join her.

Tika got up and went to the woman who she had saved. she thought of the womans words, perhaps if she was accepted, she would stay with this tribe and help its leader.

Alena took a quick leave to the blood from her hands from when she had sewed up Aryann's wound before taking her place beside her brother in the background once again. Aryann was right, strange indeed were these days if another paled was going to join them. After what Tika had done, she could accept her into the clan, but another? How could they be sure that he would not lead them to their deaths? she wondered.
Gareth remained silent as he eyed the newcomer with mistrust. He rarely trusted strangers and he would not forget the sins that the paled race has done to them.

"Do you know him?" Aryann asked, purposely not using her name. She hoped Tika did, but he didn't know her, so Tika could tell her if he was trustworthy. If Tika didn't know him... She would just have to trust her instincts. She waited for Tika to answer as she thought of her tribe, what they would think of it. Would they listen to her if it meant taking a Paled, and maybe even another one, into their protection?

Patriofelis eyed the other Paled. Like she had said, he recognized her, though more than she did him. "Yo would be correct." he said, narrowing his eyes. " I recognize you assasin." he then turned to the man whom the sentry had adressed. "I am General Patriofelis. Former general, anyway." he said, eying the group warily.
