Not to sound like a complete n00b or anything, but how does this family line principle function? I'd like to know some stuff about it. Might join a line.

Hiya Turwaithion! The family trees are pretty simple. Just pick whichever one tickles your fancy and post there to be "adopted". Trust me, someone will take you in.  Once you've been adopted I'll add you to that lines family tree. There's a more in-depth explanation of how the trees work in each individual family tree thread. Once you're a part of a family you can post in that thread any time you'd like, get "married/joined" to a fellow AUer or a fictional character, and "adopt" children of your own.
If you have any more questions feel free to ask. We'd love to have you join us.

Why Congratulations dear!! I just fear that teh Karl is taken!! *shifty eyes* I am waiting for Larael to go and confirm this...but I may declare my engagement to him tomorrow or the day after if I get no answer...lol
