[I could say that Carrie has or will be sending a probe down to the settlement to survey the area around it. That could be seen as a threat to the Ronians and/or Dilaia, at which point that could be discovered by the humans. Thats really all I have at the moment, but if anyone can think of anything better please do so. My brain doesn't like me today. ]
Carrie lifted a hand to her eyes as Sasha walked away. We could be here decades, let alone years... She wished some people would be positive, though she understood(or tried to) why they didn't try to be. Times were difficult, to say the least.
Carrie looked back at Sash as she begin to speak again.
'From a body in stasis? I suppose its possible, yes. BUt once again, the risks are life threatening. Hardly better than connecting to an unfrozen one.'

Sasha looked undecided for a minuet then nodded. "OK, so if you had a brain in stasis then you have the tecnolagy now to do it? Do we need to remove my brain or what?" she asked in a perfectly matter of factly style

OOC: Sorry for being gone, but schools been a bit of a chore and I haven't had much time for being on a computer with both school and work. I'll try to get on as much as I can, which should be more often as work just ended this weekend, but no guarentees.
IC: Kayne heard bits of their conversation as he walked away and turned around. "That, honestly, is just stupid. If you put a body in stasis, the mind goes into stasis too. Stasis is the freezing of all functions in the body and brain. Therefore, if the brain isn't functioning and is frozen in time, relatively speaking, if you wake it up the shock of not knowing what is happening will send the brain into shock. The fact that none of the usual stimuli will be going to your brain, not even the automaic stimuli, such as confirmation that you are breathing and that your heart is beating will tell your brain you're dead. Therefore, your brain will go into shock. By that I mean either the information in your brain will scramble and be almost impossible to decode or your brain will just die."
"Probably the only way to do it is one you really, really aren't going to like. Which makes me love it," Kayne threw a large smile on his face as he re-organized his papers. "Nanobots. The same ones that course through my body and allow my mechanical half to function. They take information from my brain, like human nerves, and relay it through an intricate network down to the nanos in my arm and leg."

Sasha scowled at his words. Why did such an interfereing busybody have to come and tell HER what to do. However she litend all the same; knowing he knew what he was tlaking about.
She stopped in horror when he mentioned nanobots.
"You mean if i wanted to extract information from my brain i would have to have...those...THINGS..." she couldn't even bring herself to say thier names, " INSIDE me...? No. I will NOT have them inside me while i am alive or dead. There HAS to be another way." she asked him desperately

[Argh, mucho apologies. ¬¬ My health is awful and appaling and such and I've had less and less time on here.. >_<]
Carrie turned to look at Kayne as he spoke. She paused, her expression thoughtful, and nodded to herself. It made sense. But you could tell from Sasha's face that she really wasn't happy.
'He's right. Nanobots are the safest way and perhaps the only way we'd be able to successfully collect any data.'
Carrie tensed, waiting for the explosion that was surely coming next.

OOC: Yeah, now I have that problem. I torqued my knee tonight, so I won't be on at all for a while as sitting isn't how you should have a swollen knee. Feel free to powerplay Kayne as nessary.
IC: "No, there really isn't another way to get information from the brain, at least nothing that is invented right now," Kayne smirked, just loving how much Sasha was hating it.

"This is apsolutely ridiculouse!" she almost shouted with frustration. "This is what happans when humans come to reley on the machine. They forget about the imagination and ingenuity. They become nothing more than machines themselves" she spat glareing at the two of them who she considered machines in themselves.
"Why are you concerned about risk and safty Carrie? Thats just a prime example of your ARTIFICIAL Intelligance; you don't understand that when someone says they will take a risk they mean it. And you!" she turned to Kayne with a snarl "All that metal in you is obviosusely rusting your humanity away. Its obviouse to me that the only option now is the aliens. Maybe THEY will prove to be more creative than my so called fellow humans" she growled before stalking down the corridor

{OOC//I'll just keep posting on the planet...maybe someone will come down there! xD}
Dilaia sighed and sat down against the wall, staring up at the stars. She wondered what it would be like to meet a human. She wiped some more hair out of her face, letting out another loud sigh.
