Though that isn't really a point for either J/E or W/E *scratches head* _________________

Hey, what does everyonr think about all this talk of them making a fourth movie?
personally, it think they shouldn't, if they keep this going any longer than three, it will become the next star-wars, if you get my point. (I'm very sorry to all of you who like star wars, but I myself think it went on for to long.) You can only strech a good thing for so long, then it gets stupid.

I don't think they will do a fourth. For one, I don't know if Keira and Orlando would agree (I mean, I would imagine you only like to put up with being "that pirate girl/guy" for so long) and even though I think Johnny has said he would be all for it, it might be hard to come up with a plot that is original enough. Plus, the writers have said that the ending of AWE will tie up the vast majority of loose ends, so unless they were going to do a prequel film/trilogy I don't know what they'd do. And a prequel is SO reminiscent of Star Wars it almost makes me roll my eyes _________________

Aye, that was partly why I chose the word. We've been told to expect a somewhat bittersweet ending, which I'm actually more than content with. I hate the overly-happy endings. In the words of Frodo Baggins: "There are some things that time cannot mend, some hurts that go too deep…that have taken hold." Cynical as it may sound, it's true. Not everyone lives "happily ever after to the end of his days" (man...I'm just quoting LotR left and right today  ). Sometimes, people die. Dreams aren't always fulfilled. Promises can't always be kept. I almost think that the ending of AWE needs to have a bit of sadness to ballance it all out. (Besides, if absolutely everything gets perfectly resolved and everyone's happy, what are we fanfic writers going to do? )

I think you have a point Potr. If they had a bittersweet ending to the movie, I think it would make it more real to the audience and less like a traditional action movie. I know that's mostly what it is, but I think it will give it a more positive and more likeable appeal to the movie for the audience to react to.

I think they should drop it after AWE. After all, they're all rich and famous. What more do they want?... OK, I guess to be more rich and famous... but still.

YAY! I got to go with my friends to see DMC in theaters one more time! I will say I thought it better the first time around, after that the suspence was ruined. But it was great all the same(it potc, come on!) I wish that they haden't made Lizzy so in-love with Jack though, I wilke her with Will much better. I also with Jack wasn't such a coward(yes I know he redeams himself, but anyway.)
oh, and I too think that they should stop after AWE.
