I just started Out of the Silent Planet, by C.S. Lewis. It's very good!

I'm reading The Nun by Denis Diderot for English Lit. It's quite interesting so far. It seems strange though that for English Literature we are studying a translation of a book written in French

Now I'm really depressed. I finished Prince of Dreams (Tristan and Essylte novel), and naturally I knew that it's not a "and everyone lived happily ever after" story, but by the end, it was rather twisted and disturbing. And everyone DIED except the bad guy, who naturally lived. *goes off and sulks*

Onto "The Goose Girl" next. I love retellings of fairy tales :)

I love that book, Nie! :) I just read the third one a little while ago.
Arwen - is that the one by Shannon Hale? I want to read the sequel to it - my library doesn't have it. :(

I've just read "So much to tell you" by John Marsden. It was not as horrible/depressing as I expected. I actually found it very moving... and sad...

Yay! :bounce: That's such a kick ass book! *dance around madly*

Hmm, I wish I could read something good. Stupid school. I have to read "The Republic" by Plato for my Political Theory class. How exciting. Actually, Plato's quite the comedian. Oh man . . .
