I'm reading The Nun by Denis Diderot for English Lit. It's quite interesting so far. It seems strange though that for English Literature we are studying a translation of a book written in French

Now I'm really depressed. I finished Prince of Dreams (Tristan and Essylte novel), and naturally I knew that it's not a "and everyone lived happily ever after" story, but by the end, it was rather twisted and disturbing. And everyone DIED except the bad guy, who naturally lived. *goes off and sulks*
Onto "The Goose Girl" next. I love retellings of fairy tales

I love that book, Nie! I just read the third one a little while ago.
Arwen - is that the one by Shannon Hale? I want to read the sequel to it - my library doesn't have it.
I've just read "So much to tell you" by John Marsden. It was not as horrible/depressing as I expected. I actually found it very moving... and sad...

Yay! That's such a kick ass book! *dance around madly*
Hmm, I wish I could read something good. Stupid school. I have to read "The Republic" by Plato for my Political Theory class. How exciting. Actually, Plato's quite the comedian. Oh man . . .
