Yay glad you enjoyed it, JF! I thought it was absolutely brilliant myself.
Oh and the movie was also filmed in Iceland (apart from the UK).  _________________

I know, but it was the icy scenes in particular that reminded me that wasn't the UK. XD

XD Yeah naturally. And I agree about the soundtrack! The score is magnificent. My favorite tracks are Coronation, The Star Shines and Shooting Star!  _________________

 I look forward to those. Septimus in gorgeous JFishcolor.
I definitely had to buy the movie. We rented it and I watched it for three days straight. So I decided that if I could do that and not be sick of it the third day, it was a good one to buy. I agree, the music is amazing. I don't know the specific names, but the "search scenes" are so cool. _________________ going on a journey through my old claims

I LOVE Stardust! 
I've lost count of how many times I went to see it in the cinema...
I was actually planning on being at the doors of WH Smith's (earliest opening times) on the day it came out on DVD to buy before college, however I had a Geography field trip that day...  So brought it while on said field trip...
Then I proceeded to watch it 26 times in 12 days 
And I haven't watched it since... Omg... I haven't watch Stardust since February! I got a bit sick of it, especially as I watched it 4 times in a row once... 
I must agree... Septimus...  
I love the book too... I think I prefer it to the film actually... I definitely prefer the book ending....
Ok... I think I'm going to have to watch it now.... I want to do some serious drooling.... _________________

You must read the book! It'll make you obsess over Septimus even more because somehow he's even more intriguing [amongst other things  ] on paper than on film. I must admit though the Septimus and the lightning ship are my Favourite parts of the film.
Septimus and Shooting Star are my Favourite soundtrack songs as well, although I only have Shooting Star on my iPod.
