I know this is kind of late for this, but... I'd second Ea's idea. Some people aren't even allowed on chatrooms... so yeah. But I know this is late, and you guys already have things well thought out... so yeah. *shrugs*

And, btw,

I checked with PD, she hasn't heard from DD since March.

Perhaps you and Eä are right, TT. I completely understand where you're coming from, and although we're cutting things a bit close I still think we can make a thread in the Misc. Randomness board happen. I'll just have to spend some time redirecting people is all.

Thank you Larael, that'd be great. Perhaps all it takes is to drop a word in the chat room and then people can spread the word. I hope I'll see many of the oldies returning, and if I can't be there I'll stalk you for news about them.

I'm so sorry everyone. I must be the worst event planner this forum has ever seen. I just knew I should've put the thread up on Friday when I had the time, but I didn't, and then I wasn't even able to get online yesterday to at least put it up. I'm sorry. I really, really am.

It's okay, Lar. Everyone knows what it's like to have that pesky Real Life get in the way of things.

Maybe you could still set up the thread, and we could just have a designated Reunion Week? That way most people could still catch up some, and everyone would have a bit more flexibility to work around their schedules.

Yeah, really Lara-dear, it's alright... we've all been there.. having life sneaking up on us and interruptin our plans. Don't worry we still love you... and potr's idea is good... only we need them oldies to come back... I fear we might have lost them...

Thanks for being so understanding. I just felt so bad about it. It's always disappointing to have something fall through after so much planning. Should we have it this week? You see, the biggest problem I think we have is the possibly the fact that invites may have never been sent out. Did any of you receive them? Ivy said she would send them out, but real life may have gotten in her way as well.

Maybe we should see if Kit will send them out [since she's been a bit more active] or maybe we should go back to Plan A altogether and just send out invites ourselves. What do you think? I'm ready to this started again, and I'm not going to let it fail this time.

I got the first invite but that's all. It seems like many people had forgot about it and I've heard of none of the oldie returning... So yeah... perhaps this time people should try sending out personal invites to those they stay in contact with.

Aye, it may just be easier that way. I'll go back through this thread in the next couple of days and begin compiling our list again. Do any of you have a week in mind that would be a good time to try this again?

Before Christmas, I can't really think of any international occasions that merit a week completely without school for everyone. So unless we want to wait that long to have our official reunion (I'm not totally opposed to the idea), we may just have to pick a week at random and tell people to drop in if/when they can.

I'm afraid to do it during a major holiday time though because people will be busy with the holiday itself, family, etc. Maybe we should get everything planned for sure before deciding on when to host it.

Would it be too early to invite them for Halloween?
I mean the mass invite has been sent out so perhaps some of the oldies just need a reminder to return. And there are a lot of things going on with Hallowfest and contests so they will return to an active forum. Only 'problem' I can foresee might be if our active members go under a Halloween disguise, but still it should be a minority.
