The new one with Ed Norton. I thnk it's a great movie, but I was so exhausted I think putting it on at midnight probably wasn't the best idea I've ever had lol

Believe me I understand.
The first time I saw Donnie Darko I fell asleep, because I had the longest day ever, so putting that movie on at midnight wasn't a good idea either :P

The Lion In Winter - Awesome film. :notworthy: Has some of the most "snarl and claw at everyone" performances ever from Katharine Hepburn and Peter O'Toole. And some of the best lines.

Henry II: I'm 50 now. Good God, boy, I'm the oldest man I know! I've got a decade on the pope!

Prince John: Poor John. Who says poor John? Don't everybody sob at once! My God, if I went up in flames there's not a living soul who'd pee on me to put the fire out!
Prince Richard: Let's strike a flint and see.

Eleanor: I could peel you like a pear and God himself would call it justice!

Beckett - Always wanted to see this film. Same King as in The Lion In Winter and same actor. I preferred the afore mentioned though. ;)

Somewhere In Time - it was a pretty good movie. :) It was just simple and sweet... also I've been where it was filmed! (only a little over a week ago, actually. My mom and I saw some of the places :))

Emma - the A&E version. It cuts a lot out of the story so I’m happy I’m reading the book so I know what’s going on ect, but it is still a really good adaptation. :D I am enjoying it muchly... mom and I still need to finish it though. We weren't able to watch the whole thing the other night. I want to see how it ends. *bounces around while waiting*

The Duchess - Not bad for a historical costume drama. Fiennes was excellent, and Knightley really wasn't that bad either. She certainly was glamourous. You'll hate the Duke by the end of it, you really will.

YES! Donald O'Conner is AMAZING. "Oh wonderful! Do another one!" "Moses supposes his toses are roses but Moses supposes erroneously.." Love it. Love it love it love it. I adore old musicals.

AUGH! I want to see that sooooooo badly! It looks pretty amazing, plus some of my favorite stars. Haha, that's hilarious that you just watched How to Steal a Million, and then you watched this. We have scarily similar tastes.

And to be on topic: last movie I watched was The Princess Bride. For the millionth time.

"The Sting"

One of my favourites.

What's ironic about that is I'm NOT a big fan of Robert Redford. Ha ha ha! Of all of his stuff, this is THE ONLY thing that I really like. But Paul Newman, man. WOOOOOOO! Just a great con film all around. :D

DUDE. Where have all you people been? People with my same movie tastes! I looooooove The Sting. Because Paul Newman is amazing. Have you ever seen Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid? Redford did all right in that one as well.

Evan Almighty

I don't usually watch films like this and with good reason. It was horrible but there was Lauren Graham. Witch is why I watched it...

My two cents about Headless Horseman's and MontanaBohemian's discussion about seeing Austen classics on film- I don't fit either group (the one who sees a certain actor in a role for the first time, then sees a different actor in the same role, but likes the former better, and vice-versa) :P. I've seen two different versions of Pride & Prejudice (the miniseries with Colin Firth playing Mr. Darcy, and the recent version with Keira Knightley playing Lizzie Bennett). I saw the miniseries first, and immediately fell in love with Colin Firth's Darcy. A number of years later, 2007 to be exact, I saw the version with Keira. I figured I'd still like Colin Firth's Darcy over what's-his-name's, but I found I liked both for different reasons :trampoline:.

Ghost Town

Surprisingly funny. My favorite bits were the "How can teeth be self righteous?" and "Please god! Save this man!".
