The Polar Express....in IMAX!!! Man, that made me love the movie even more. I didn't realize how much detail had been paid to the characters, as in their features. It was so lifelike, at times it's hard to believe it's animated. wow....i love TPE. especially in IMAX format. :D

Another Christmas classic. :D

Isn't it brilliant? I love Cary Grant so much. :D XD

I watched most of "My Favourite Wife" the other night.

The ending is so freaking hysterical!! :P Cary Grant ftw! I love that man far too much than I probably should, but oh well. ;)

Yeppers. I've always loved it, although it takes a damn fine actor to take my eyes off Cary Grant, but David Niven did just that. He was awesome as always.

Miracle on 34th Street
A Christmas Story

I never used to like 34th Street much, but I do now I'm older and like older films (I must have first seen it when I was 6, lol). A Christmas Story I haven't seen in at least 11 years. We used to watch it every Christmas at my grandmothers house and when she died, I just never got round to watching it.

Must watches for Christmas.

I hated Pearl Harbour with such a passion. If I have one rant, it's that war movies have to be perfect. Pearl Harbour made me want to gouge out my eyes. If you're hoping for a good, commemorative movie, that shares both the emotional and physical effects of war, I reccommend the Canadian movie, Passchendaele. Pearl Harbour was too much about the love story, and not enough about the event. If you are going to show such an emotional, and impactful(word?) event, do it with some class and stay away from the characters. Movies like that need good characters, obv (watch Saving Private Ryan), but they need characters that portray the bigger picture.

/end rant

^Agreed. One war movie that really got me was Joyeux Noel. That was absolutely beautiful. I had tears at the end.

Batman Begins. Where it all began!

^^ I'm big on "The Great Raid" - such a great movie

Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby (I find the stupid humor in this movie fantastic.)

I caught the end of it.. for some reason they were playing it on SOAPNet.. which is very strange... But I was reminded how funny it was and hilarious; "1 + 2 + 1 + 1..." Miss Scarlet is love <3

Raivynn Phoenix- I never thought about that before, but yeah, how did he manage to avoid getting a broken hand =/? One of those "for the movie" moments, I guess ;D!

About Excalibur- Ooh, excellent movie 8)! Definitely a fantasy classic .

Aranel Faelwen- Which one? The first movie, or the one that came out a while back this year? I liked them both, personally, but that's just me :].

Last movie I watched (last night)- Jurassic Park: The Lost World. Not as jaw-droppingly amazing as the original, but definitely loads better than Jurassic Park III. That one just sucked B/! Best part about it was the super-smart Raptors and the return of Dr. Grant. Beyond that, it was just a waste of time and money B|.

"Pride & Prejudice"

(The 2005 version)

I'll never accept Keira as Lizzy, but oh well. XD Matthew is still GORGEOUS. :swoon: Could never be my Mr. Darcy, but he sure as hell gives Colin Firth a run for his money. :P

"Love Actually"

WIIIIIIIN. Made of so much win! Fweeeeeee! Seriously, Hugh Grant as Prime Minister would be so fabulous. :P

"Bend It Like Beckham"

Yay! Such a fun movie. *gigglesnort*

And for something completely DIFFERENT than the above, ;) , "Lost Treasure Of The Grand Canyon"

Yeaaaaaaah. Don't poke fun at me; even though it's a Sci Fi original movie. :P Michael Shanks is a god, so I HAD to. And he was ADORABLE in this movie. Oh god. *SQUEEEE* Shy, geeky guys always get to me. :swoon: ANNND, the guy who played Martouf in Stargate SG-1 was in it! Ftw!

An alright film for a Sci Fi original...;) I'm not sure we ever found out what the "lost treasure" was...but apparently Michael Shanks can speak any language known to mankind. XD "I speak many languages."

^ Daniel and Martouf? I might just have to hunt that movie down and watch it!

I guess I've been in a mood for classic comedies lately. I've watched:
We're No Angels- adorable movie! And Bogey!
Animal Crackers, Duck Soup, and Monkey Business. The Marx brothers are hilarious!

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS. BOTH of them. I would've watched it with just Daniel, but the fact that Martouf was there just made it better. Because both are GOOOORGEOUS. If you get Sci Fi, I'm sure they'll be running it again sometime soon. :P

@Eleny: Ha ha ha! I'm not sure if it's worth it THAT much. Although, the Sci Fi channel just rocks no matter what. But yeah, if you get the chance, you should try and watch it. Those two make it SOOO worth while. XD

I forgot to say that I watched "Notting Hill" last night. Julia Roberts made me go: :yuck: But all teh Brits pwned. Why? Because they're British...DUH.
