Sleeping Beauty

I haven't seen that in YEARS! I mean years. It's a sad thing when you have to actually buy things to see them. :P Glad I got it though, it was just as good as I was hoping it would be, although I remembered liking it from all those years ago. Seemed a lot shorter though than I remembered. But when your 8, 1 hour and 40 minutes is long. XD

I watched all The Lord of The Rings (Extended versions) the whole night.
It was really nice :D
Only now I'm really tired from the lack of sleep :duh:

Twilight
Finally saw it. And I was little disappointed. Edward looked the whole film like he's either gonna cry or has kidney ache or something, and I hated the close ups from him. But Charlie was funny.

The Incredible Hulk

I enjoyed this very, very much. :notworthy: For 2 pretty good reasons:

1: I have never seen Edward Norton in anything and a) he is lovely to look at, b) he was very good in this and c) he is very lovely to look at :teehee:

2: I have never seen Tim Roth in anything before (we'll forget Planet of the Apes as you didn't really see him) and a) he was a villain so naturally he caught my attention b) he was awesome in this c) and not being someone who *most* people would call attractive... I found him very nice to look at :P

But apart from silently *squeeing* when either of those two were on screen, I had a good time watching it. It was good, clean honest entertainment, which was far better than Ang Lee's Hulk.

So good. You really can't get much better than Cary Grant.

The Dark Knight.

Okay, I'm going to be sincere. I know a lot of you guys love it very much, and so I expected a lot from that movie. I can't say that I'm exactly disappointed, but it wasn't as good as I expected. I can't even say why. Perhaps it's just that Batman is not my kind of superhero, I muchly prefer Spider-man. Batman is so... perfect, he never has real doubts about himself. Compare TDK with Spider-man 3, and you know what I mean.

And I didn't get the ending of the movie. Perhaps I'm just too stupid, but why didn't they just pretend that the Joker killed Harvey and the other people? I don't get it, really.

Heath Ledger was ummm... scary. Very scary. But great.

Well technically it is incorrect to call Batman a superhero... as Christian Bale himself has noted, he is an ordinary man with money. That's all the power he has. And some neat technology, but he has no weird and wonderful superskills.

Also, I think with this film, you can see that Bruce has major doubts about himself. Like Peter in Spiderman 3, he doesn't want to do this anymore. He wants to pass all the problems to someone who doesn't have to go against the law to get things done. But also like Peter, he is guilty of needing his alter-ego for himself as much as for the people of his city.

And I think, the whole point was with Batman becoming the villain, is with the Joker incarcerated, the people would need someone to blame, to hunt, to point the finger at, for what happened to Harvey Dent. The people are already disillusioned with Batman, so it made sense to make him the villain, so Dent would become a victim of the man who says everything he was doing was for the good of the city... when Dent was actually the one who would done the most good. The Joker was just a freak of a criminal... to have Dent fall to someone like him would not have done Dent's image any good.

That's the way I see it anyway. :P

And I am so glad you liked Heath Ledger as the Joker.

River Queen

I only watched the last hour and a half, but it was alright. Just another example of white people invading and trying to kill off the native peoples of an area. And Samantha Morton is very beautiful, especially with the Maori tattoos at the end...

@JF: *ish shaken* I only watched it cause I wanted to see the Batmobile, and the Lamborghini that he drives. And I'm finding that I prefer Iron Man over Batman right now... Plus Tony drives an Audi R8, which is so much sexier than a Lambo...

Hellboy II: The Golden Army.

I was surprised I wasn't disappointed to be honest
Mostly around these kind of movies, the 2nd and so on usually isn't good.
But they did a great job with this one :D

Prince Nuada completely stole my heart
