Yeah.... so not going to see it.... I really shouldn't have read that... just reminded me of being with Beattie when she was put to sleep... :'( Gods... a year ago last Thursday and I'm still not over it....

As for Titanic... I nearly wet myself laughing while watching that... absolute hilarious film (I'm a strange person.. :eyeroll: )

EDIT:

I can't sleep so do I watch half of an Extended Edition or do I watch Madagascar? Now I haven't seen Madagascar for 18 months seeing as a friend borrowed it during out GCSE exams (June 2007!!!!) and Madagascar 2 is out on BT Vision tomorrow so we're watching it then. But I haven't watched a LotR for about 3 months now and I'm starting to get withdrawal symptoms (which hasn't been helped by the constant playing of the CRs I've been doing)... Hummm... choices...

Parts of Prince Caspian - I'm rather in love with the ending, at the moment. :)

I'll probably watch Marley and Me when it comes out on DVD.

I've only ever lost hamsters, and even if it was a film about a hamster, I would still go and see it, as I bet it would bring back lots of happy memories and emotions and I could see some of my pets in the animal that is shown.

So while I can imagine it must be sad for dog owners, it must also make you remember your own dog.

That's the way I'd feel anyway.

After the Thin Man
Another Thin Man
- William Powell and Myrna Loy. :notworthy:

There is no way I will see Marley & Me. No way no how.

Stardust
The 10th Kingdom
- to be accurate, I watched the first third yesterday, I'm doing the second third today, and probably the end tomorrow. Or tonight, depending on how much homework I get done.

Sense & Sensibility... not my favorite Jane Austen adaptatation, but at least Keira Knightley wasn't in this one (not the greatest Keira-fan... or fan at all...! :-) and The Softest Voice in the world, Alan Rickman's!! :P

@ Ea - Awww... I love that film. The characters are so spot on. There is only one Colonel Brandon! :D

@ Nienna - *high fives* Yay for The Mummy! :punk:

Monsters vs. Aliens in 3D - It was good, wasn't brilliant though. It had great potential but failed in some areas. Bob was awesome though. Yay for the Bob! :teehee:

No matter what the haters say. I don't care...this movie was great. 84 minutes of fun and entertainment. That's all I wanted from it and I got it in spades. Again I say...*censoredz* the haters.

9/10 Only the running time made me drop a point.

I haven't read the book yet so I can't say anything about the characters, but I do know that I love and adore Emma Thompson!! You know my love for Alan Rickman but I have to admit I prefer him in his other (darker) roles! :p

By the way, would you - and other Austen-lovers - be interested in a thread where we discussed etiquette, norms and manners at Jane Austen's time? There are so many things I don't understand from a modern point of view. :-)

@ Ea - Really?! I thought you had read S&S?

Yes, I would be interested in that, as I have 2 books discussing the times in which Jane Austen lived and how they were back then. :-)

Persuasion - the ITV with Sally Hawkins...

I can't make my mind up about it. The whole running around Bath thing was just awful, no wonder it took Captain Wentworth so long to kiss her. And what was the whole thing with them getting Kellynch at the end?
But then the guy who played Wentworth was rather yummy  , especially in comparison with Ciarán Hinds from the 1995 adaptation.
