I am just going to wait for you, and throw in the hobbit that I want to. Warning: More than one halfling may appear.

Totally made me giggle :P I dunno - Someone decide where poor Bevier is going to live; surrounded by chicks or lonesome?

Bevier Steward: He's kind of a serious young man who happens to take himself rather seriously. Very lovable though.

Totally fine with me Smeag. Sorry, Saira. I'm making life easy on myself. Multiple living spaces means entrance posts are wacky. And I have another character or two being thrown in later. Well, one is in my first post. Which, I'm working on now. I swears! >.> <.<

Haha I've tried roleplaying Legolas and I am terrible. I bring shame to the character...

(Okay, starting post! Yay! I'm excited. So, I think we're going to get all the real worlders set up and I'll let you LotR folks know when to hop in. Yes, I am giving the dog a character place simply because I find it fun. )

Alex was home late - obscenely late. About one o'clock in the morning late. Which, she supposed through her alcohol muddled logic was also early.

She tiptoed through the house, giggling to herself. First she was through the kitchen, the black and white chess board like tile making little noise as her flip flops were held in her hand. The brunette grimaced. The tiles were gross and old. She wish they had enough money to replace them. Next obstacle was passing the one and only guy's room, through the nearly non-existent living area with its shag carpet (also gross) and up the rickety stairs to her room.

Done. She let out a relieved, alcohol scented, sigh. For once she was glad that one of the rooms downstairs was empty - there were three college kids and four rooms. What if they had acquired a light sleeper?

She'd be yelled at a lot more. Alex opened the door to her room and winced at the squeak. Not good. She heard growling coming from behind the door - major not good.

"Tyson," she muttered towards the brown and bad tempered pit bull that laid on her bed - thank God it was her dog, or she'd be worried. As it were, the pit let out another annoyed huff and closed his eyes to go back to sleep - Tyson wished his mistress would come in earlier and not disturb him, one of these days he was sure he'd crack.

She laid down and pushed the eighty five pounds of muscle and fur off her pillow and rubbed his ears. "Hey, buddy. You miss me?" She asked, kissing the dog's head.

Tyson rearranged his thoughts - he loved his owner. And he especially loved ear scratches. Deciding to humor her he gave a small 'ruff' to agree with the statement.

"That's my boy," she said with a yawn while laying back on her pillow, her dark brown hair falling out around her head - still in a pony of course.

Tyson raised an eyebrow and then settled back down, curling up in as small a ball as he could manage, easily drifting back to sleep.

----------------------------

Morning cam about six hours after her evening ended and with it came a blaring alarm.

Beep. Beep. Be be beep. Be be beep. Be be be be be

The sound was relentless as was the headache - oh, thank you hangovers. Tyson was the savior. Alex never quite learned how Tyson knew to hit the snooze button, but she supposed it was from her hitting it repeatedly when he was a puppy and she was still a senior in highschool. Wow, had it only been almost a year? It seemed longer.

The alarm was stopped by a brown and white toed paw, but sleep did not return. Tyson was hungry.

"Raoow!" The pit demand next to her ear before poking her with his wet brown nose.

"Ugh...Tyson!" She scolded, swinging her arm towards him to swat him away.

Tyson let out another bark, followed by a tail waggle. This was his favorite game. Wake up the master! And he was king of it. He bent forward and wiggled his shoulders, launching himself into the air and onto her stomach.

"Oof! Fine, bully." She muttered, slipping out of bed, looking for clothes for the rest of the day.

"Jeans and a t-shirt?" She asked the dog.

Tyson raised his brows and his owner looked confused. "What? I have more than these," she muttered digging through her closet and putting on a decidedly clean set of jeans and a new t-shirt. She opened the door and Tyson bolted downstairs to wait patiently by his silver metal bowls in the kitchen - which clashed horribly with the chess floor, not that he would ever tell.

Alex walked down the stairs, filled Tyson's bowl up followed by her own cereal bowl - Transformers themed (there was a sale at Target, could you blame her?) and waited for the general hub that came with three sleep deprived college students waking up for class at seven in the morning.

(I will save you Saira!
Name: Derek Frew
Occupation: College Student
Personality: Laid back. Fun. Always on the go for everything but schoolwork.)

"I hate mornings..." Derek mumbled to himself before shooting a pillow across the room at his alarm clock. It didn't work. The alarm was still blaring, and the pillow muffling the sound could only hold off the annoyance for so long. It was at his breaking point that Derek got out of bed, cursed a bit, and slammed his fist on his alarm clock to turn it off.

It took a few seconds of solemn silence to assure Derek that the alarm was off and his ears were free from ringing, that is before his roomie's alarm rang.

Trudging along, Derek, half awake, slumped down into his chair at the kitchen table with a bowl, Cocoa Puffs, and milk in front of him. It took a moment for him to recollect that he was spilling milk on the table instead of into the bowl, but he soon fixed that problem and started to devour his cereal before heading off to his first class of the day: Calculus 2. (Seven A.M. was practically an illegal time of the day to have a math class.)

Beaver and his apartment was a disaster, but Derek considered keeping it that way for the next few days as a symbol of the killer party they had last night. It was to celebrate their last day of freedom, but, just as the aftermath of the party was apparent throughout their apartment, it was soon to be noticed that the effects of the party were going to influence his grades in school. Derek could only hope that the teacher didn't require anything to be done for the first day of class, as he finished up the last bite of cereal.

Bevier had been up, naturally, for hours.

He'd taken a volunteering opportunity, and they had failed to mention that it was an 'agricultural experience'. This meant that he's spent two months being bullied by a bad tempered farmer in some God-forsaken farmland up in Canada. This meant that waking up at 4:30 am was a drill, and he was still working on breaking the habit. So he'd read in the dark of his room till he heard the rest of the house stirring.

"Time to get ready." Yawning he got up from his desk and peered at his alarm clock, grumbling.

He smiled wryly as he dressed and thought about how much his life had changed in the last few months, but conceded that it wasn't too bad. At least he had a bed and food to eat, and usually a roof over his head. His hangover (most of it) has subsided to an almost unnoticeable throb, but he winced noticeably when he pulled back the curtain to let in the sunlight.

Muttering curses, he ran his fingers through his black curls and started for the kitchen. "Why's this place such a mess?"
He routinely cleaned (or tried to), but it always seemed to get into a mess again.

Alex and Derek were both there, sleepy and looking terrible. Grinning slightly, he skipped out of the reach of Tyson's playful lunge. "Morning. I would add good, but it doesn't seem to be one."

[ I'm really thrilled about this.. but I don't know how frequently I'll be able to post.. so don't kill me if I'm slow..]

Jo Hughes climbed the stairs to the appartment she shared with three fellow students in a quick and structured pace. Although it had been a cool morning she wore tight fitting white jogging pants and a tanktop. The ponytail in which her long hair was bound, swayed behind her as she reached the door which led to the small hall of the appartment. This morning she'd woken early and decided that it was a perfect moment for a run. After a quick bowl of cornflakes and saying 'good morning' to Bevier she'd left.

The blonde loved morning when the city was still quiet except for the early official who went to work or the mailman. She loved the rising sun and the dew on the patches of grass. It had been a long run, nine miles or so, but that was not unusual for Jo who was quite a sport-addict. By the time she entered the kitchen she was in a good mood after breaking her personal record.

"Good morning!" she said cheerful to all who listened. She grabbed her favourite coffeemug to claim her dose of cafeïne and grinned. Judging from the sleepy faces of Alex and Derek above their cereal bowls they were hardly awake.

"Hmm coffee.. the only thing I need now is a shower and then I'll be ready for it." Jo first sat down at the kitchen table, drinking her coffee. "So.. nice party eh?"
