Hm, it's definitely a series? If it is, I guess so. :erm:

I watched The Half Blood Prince this week, and that prompted me to pick up HP 7 and reread that. I'm enjoying it thoroughly...again!

That's a good book. I need to read it again soon.

By far one of my favourite books of all time. Hands down. Even though Gwenyfar makes me want to rip the book to shreds every time she appears. Wench. XD

Anyway!

I picked up "Seabiscuit" at the hostel I was staying at in Edinburgh.

I've devoured it. Maybe because it's been so long since I've read something for fun, but even then ... I just RACED through this BIOGRAPHY. Oh yeah. A non-fiction book that reads almost like fiction. It's an amazing story and I recommend it to anyone. It's just a fabulously interesting and exciting story of the thoroughbred leaving everyone in the dust when he hit the track. I'm really curious to get into horseracing, well at least watching it, now.

Yeah, it's a great story... and even though it is long - it has un-neccessary long passages at times - I still feel I can't put it away. It's great to feel this way about a book, I've become so picky with my reads so it's really nice!

I didn't know Seabiscuit was a book too, I saw the movie once...

Haldir:: How do you like Sigurd & Gudrun? And did you ever read the legend of the Nibelung?

Currently on book two: The High Queen with that annoying damsel Guinewere (I refuse to do even a vain attempt at spelling her name the Celtic way!)

It's really rare that I can find a book to read several times and still enjoy it each time. So great to find books like that. Despite wanting to rip it to shreds because of a certain character. :P

As for "Seabiscuit," I would say the movie is based off the book but the story is non-fiction. ;) I really enjoyed it so, I'd recommend it. It reads like a movie ... if that makes sense.

Pretty Little Devils, by Nancy Holder.

it's kind of annoying me, but i'm semi-invested in the "twist" on the whole "girl wants to be part of the popular crowd" concept....being that one of them is apparently going to kill the others. we'll see.
