"Moulin Rouge!"

I haven't seen this in ages! Which means nothing because I still know every single word. :P Ewan McGregor FTW. Oh, and David Wenham in make-up will always be one of the funniest things I've ever seen.

"Ever After"

Another one that I haven't seen in a while. *squeeee*

[s]"Persuasion"[/s] "Sense & Sensibility" (2008)

The miniseries thing. I finally broke down and watched. HOW I made it all the way through without throwing the DVD out the window is beyond me.

Three things got me through: David Morrissey (whom I adore - and apparently the character of Colonel Brandon no matter who plays him will always be tragically perfect XD - but is still no Alan Rickman), Mark Gatiss (WIIIIIIIN) and Mark Williams. They were the only ones acting methinks.

The rest were just SO wretched. The actual series was more faithful to the book than the film, but jeeez, I'm not sure it was worth it. Poor Willoghby was made out to be just pure evil. Bah.

Mobo:: I don't think I've ever seen Persuasion.... what an Austen-fan I am... :P

Enchanted... this is where my Patrick Dempsey crush originates... sadly enough, it only lasts during the movie, not beyond!

I think you mean Sense and Sensibility don't you? :P

I thought you had seen that version, and I have to agree - it is rather bad. I absolutely hated the actor who played Willoughby and I also hated what they did to his character. Number One Evil Actor though was the cretin who played Marianne. What a useless object she was! Couldn't act her way out of a paper bag. Elinor was OK... not brilliant, but compared to her sister she deserves an Oscar.

@Ea and teh JFishness: :duh: I meant Sense and Sensibility! *headdesk* *headdesk* *headdesk*

What's sad is I remember when I first typed it, I corrected myself and then ... I don't know what happened. Serves me right for being online way too early right after waking up. XD

I hadn't seen this. My mom bought it and the new Persuasion (which I do like) but I'd heard about this new S&S and couldn't ever bring myself to watch it. I don't know what persuaded me to watch it this time though. I just kept thinking "if this is the new crop of young British actors ... OI." And I agree about the actors who played Marianne and Elinor.

And I LOOOOOOOVE Enchanted!!!!!!! Disney musicals ftw.

^Lol, what an Austen-fan you are!! I did see that one and I was so disappointed with the NOT-Alan Rickman part! :P

And I actually I tried to watch Ella Enchanted the other day... that was wierd... perhaps because I only saw the endning but nice fight/I-love-you-scene in the end. :)

@Ea: It was disappointing without teh AR but David Morrissey was rather a redeeming quality to an otherwise lost and disastrous show. :P

"Never Been Kissed"

Haven't seen this in a while. I wish I had a teacher that attractive. XD

"The Bourne Identity"
"The Bourne Supremacy"
"The Bourne Ultimatum"

I was in a mood. Actually, once I started "Identity," there was no way I couldn't not watch the other two. These movies are SO epic. WIN WIN WIN. They are wicked good. :notworthy:
